General Hospital Spoilers – Steve Burton Started His Soap Career On Days Of Our Lives

General Hospital’s Burton played Harris Michaels on Days of Our Lives in 1988 before he took on the iconic role of Jason Morgan (formerly Quartermaine). Michaels was a classmate or former prostitute, Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva). Eve’s schoolmates knew that she used to be a prostitute and a bet ensued to see who could sleep with her first. Michaels took the bed since she was attracted to him. However, Harris’ plan backfired when he fell in love with Eve. Eve found out about the bet and tried to kill herself with sleeping pills. Harris and Eve were not meant to be. Eve could never forgive Harris for the deceit and the duo moved on. Harris tried to apologize but Eve refused to forgive him.

GH Spoilers – Will Days Of Our Lives Bring Back Harris Michaels?

General Hospital’s Steve Burton hasn’t revealed anything about his Days of Our Lives character. Harris could be returning as a possible love match for Eve should she be out of prison on the mini-series. Eve has been far from lucky in love and it’s about time that changes. Since Beyond Salem 2 deals with people and possible plots stemming back to the 1980s, it would not be a stretch for Eve and Harris’ story to play out years later. Would Eve have been a different person if someone has shown her love as a teenager?

General Hospital Spoilers – Steve Burton Left GH Last Fall

General Hospital’s Steve Burton had signed on for the long haul with GH when he returned to the soap in 2017. However, only three years into his latest GH stint, COVID struck leaving the world in shambles. Production of soaps shut down for a while and by the end of 2021, a vaccine mandate had been issued for the cast of G.H. Both Burton and former co-star Ingo Rademacher chose not to be vaccinated against Covid and lost their job because of it. Both actors applied for medical and religious exemption and both were denied. However, the road was left open where Burton could return in the future if things change.

Will the vaccine mandate be lifted in the future? Could Jason come back to pick up where he left off one day down the road? Stars like Zach Tinker (Sonny Kiriakis) have become a part of the regular days’ cast, could Burton or Rademacher come to Days of Our Lives for good?
