GH Spoilers: Spencer Stole The Ice Princess From Tracy

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the Ice Princess has a long history in Port Charles. Originally, the Cassadine Family planned to use the formula at the base of the statue to freeze the world if the governments of the world refused to pay them an inordinate sum of money. Their plan failed because of Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) interference as well as a few others. In the chaos, Luke managed to keep the diamond and used it’s shavings to fund his many out of town excursions.

General Hospital Spoilers – Luke Spencer Took The Ice Princess With Him When He Left Port Charles

Luke stayed in Port Charles for decades and had many adventures and the Cassadine’s remained a thorn in his side the whole time. But eventually, Luke left Port Charles for good, and made a life for himself in Amsterdam. He took the Ice Princess with him and eventually he was joined by Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). Tracy and Luke remained together there until just a few weeks ago, when tragedy struck.

Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) was devastated when Tracy showed up at her door on New Year’s Eve with news of Luke’s passing. He had been in a terrible cable car accident and his remains were identified. Tracy had the awful task of informing Luke’s friends and family of what happened. Plenty of tears were shed already, so instead of a funeral it was decided that there would be a wake in Luke’s honor at the Haunted Star!

The day of Luke’s wake was full of surprises. A mysterious video tape arrived from Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) who had died years earlier but pre-recorded a message to Luke so she could get the last word. But after all the goodbyes, Tracy had one thing left to do. She wanted Laura to have the Ice Princess, but she refused. Her grandson, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez)was present during this exchange and seemed transfixed by the idea of just seeing, or even touching, the diamond. But Laura warned Spencer that nothing good ever came from it so she gave it back to Tracy.

GH Spoilers – The Ice Princess Was Fake!

Before Tracy left Port Charles she was arrested for selling shavings from the Ice Princess. It seems that wasn’t the real diamond. There is no indication when the diamond was swapped out but given Spencer’s reaction upon just hearing about the famed diamond, perhaps found the time to replace it with a fake. If so, look for another adventure involving the diamond to begin as soon as Spencer’s prison sentence of thirty days is served.
