GH Spoilers: Spencer Looks For Himself, And It Leads Him To Trina

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) looks for himself, and it leads him to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Spencer wants to find himself and who he really is inside, not just what he’s been told he is all his life.

General Hospital Spoilers: Another Falling Out Of Father And Son

There’s another falling out of father and son when Spencer goes to Wyndemere and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) tells him his marriage to Ava Cassadine (Maura West) is over. Spencer’s heard that before, so he really interrogates his father to be able to tell whether it’s a lie or not, and then he really gets mad. Now Nikolas comes up with something really egregious, that he’s had an affair with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and she’s pregnant with his baby, and Spencer tears him to shreds!

Of course, that is only the very quick and ill-advised cover story Elizabeth herself came up with to explain her having a bottle of prenatal vitamins. Spencer has no idea that his ex-girlfriend Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is the one who’s pregnant and Elizabeth is nursing her, and she’s captive in the north tower.

GH Spoilers: Time To Distance Himself From The Cassadines

Spencer’s response to that little gem is to shout that it might be time to distance himself not only from him, but from all Cassadines. Nikolas takes it, since he can’t have Spencer living at the castle and finding pregnant Esmé and finding out he’s the father, but of course that makes things even worse. Nikolas agreeing with Spencer that it’s a good idea to distance himself from him and the rest of the family wounds Spencer with the worst kind of rejection. He heads over to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) who is also a disenfranchised Cassadine, by her own choice, and talks about his plans to her. Spencer wants to be his own man, and Alexis advises him he needs to find the things that make him, him.

General Hospital Spoilers: Who Am I, Really….

Spencer doesn’t really know what he is or who he is, because he’s always been told he’s a spoiled rich kid and dodged bullets. Alexis had also told him that he needs to find what makes him happy, since he’s never developed a sense of self. He’s just always accepted others’ opinions of him, but the one thing he knows for sure is he loves Trina.

Spencer winds up on Trina’s doorstep, where he hopes to find some answers about himself. Of course, he will also express support and sympathy for her, since she’s grieving a great loss, but the two will have a meeting of the minds as a result.
