GH Spoilers: Spencer Learns That Nikolas Slept With Esme

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Spencer being shocked and horrified when he learns what his father did with his girlfriend.

General Hospital Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Has A Confession To Make

Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) guilt over sleeping with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) gets the best of him once again. He already confessed what he did to Ava Jerome (Maura West) and that didn’t go well at all. Now, he feels compelled to tell Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) before Spencer has to go to Spring Ridge.

While it’s true that Spencer and Esme had not slept together in months when Nikolas made his big mistake, it will still feel like a betrayal of epic proportions because this is just not something a father should do with a very young woman who his son dated.

Spencer’s reaction to the news will not go over any better for Nikolas than Ava’s did. When Ava learned what happened, Esme went over the parapet. When Spencer learns, something bad happens to Ava.

GH Spoilers – Spencer Cassadine Gets Drunk

He may not be 21 yet, but that doesn’t stop Spencer from drinking himself into a stupor when he realizes his father slept with Esme. Nicholas Alexander Chavez told the September 5, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest that he loved playing his character as a drunk.

“His inhibitions were gone,” Chavez says. “He’s saying things he wouldn’t say if he wasn’t absolutely hammered.”

However, things go really bad when Ava ends up seriously injured and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is convinced that Spencer had something to do with it.

“I don’t think that hungover Spencer, in his hotel room, expects for his uncle to barge him and start accusing him of trying to kill his stepmother.”

However, that doesn’t mean Spencer doesn’t wonder if he did indeed do it. This will now haunt Spencer when he heads off to his three-month prison stint. Now, Spencer is both tortured and paranoid, which is not a good combination at all. Too bad Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is too busy with Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) to calm him down.
