GH Spoilers: Spencer Confesses His Love, Trina Torn Between Him And Rory?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the teen scene was hotter than Hades this summer as Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) nearly went to jail for leaking revenge porn. Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) set her up, and now that Esme is presumed dead, it looked like Trina could have been hung out to dry.

Luckily the teen was saved by a comatose man who her doctor mom Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) risked everything to bring back to the land of the living. The fallout from this sordid plot continues to reverberate with more shocks and awes coming in the days and weeks ahead.

General Hospital Spoilers – Trina Must Choose

Nicholas Chavez, who portrays Spencer Cassadine, spoke to SOD about the twists and turns his character has taken with Trina. He sacrificed his own freedom to save her, and now he is about to do time for a crime neither he nor Trina copped to initially.

Why would Spencer risk his happiness for Trina’s? Chavez says, “because he loves her and love is about what you give and not about what you take ….”

GH Spoilers – Will Spencer Risk All For Trina Robinson?

Trina is getting cozy with Officer Rory Cabrera (Michael Kruse) however, so Spencer decides to let Trina know how he feels about her before he is sent away. It would seem like the perfect moment for these two to bond, but as is often the case with soaps, a curveball is thrown at the last minute.

Chavez notes, that as he is about to hand her a letter confessing his love, she smacks him with the truth that she doesn’t even want to be friends with him!

General Hospital Spoilers – What Happens Next In Port Charles, New York?

According to Chavez, his character is blindsided by Trina’s words and thinks “maybe this letter was not a good idea.” He notes that he thinks he is doing right by her, as she has done by him. What does Spencer ultimately decide to do?

“In this moment, there are flickers in either direction,” he says, as to whether Spencer wants to reveal himself and become vulnerable. It should be noted that Spencer just found out that his dad Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and his supposed girlfriend Esme has sex behind his back. Will he be willing to take another chance on love, or will Spencer allow sadness and disappointment to get the best of him and become yet another bitter, disillusioned male Cassadine heir?
