Despite nearly everyone making it clear they disapprove of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) relationship, he makes a bold move. Sonny brings Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to the Quartermaine picnic. This probably won’t end well.

GH spoilers reveal that Carly might have ended her marriage and is trying to move on. However, every single time Carly sees Nina she is reminded of what she did. Carly and her entire family unnecessarily grieved for nearly a year. Carly wasn’t the only one affected as there are children and stepchildren involved.

In addition to that, Nina is the person who bought Carly’s half of the Metro Court. So, in Carly’s eyes, Nina has stolen her husband as well as her business.

Even though Sonny is aware of how everyone feels about his romance with Nina, he makes a bold move. During the week of August 22, the Quartermaine family hosts a charity picnic. Sonny decides to take Nina to this picnic knowing Carly’s friends and family will be there.

It seems to be a calculated move to send a clear message. That message is that Sonny is going to continue seeing Nina no matter what anyone thinks.

Of course, Sonny is single and is free to date who he wants. However, taking Nina to a Quartermaine family event is clearly a bad idea.

General Hospital Spoilers – Olivia Quartermaine’s Opinion

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will tell Sonny how she feels. This might happen at the Quartermaine charity picnic. Olivia will be brutally honest about how much she disapproves of Sonny’s relationship with Nina. However, what will Sonny say when Olivia makes her position clear?

GH Spoilers – Violent End

It is teased that Sonny and Nina have a romantic date during the week of August 22. The picnic might be the “date” that the spoilers refer to. However, it doesn’t end well, especially if Carly sees the two together.

Plus, it is teased that Nina and Carly will have a showdown that gets violent. While some fans predict punches will be thrown, it could be much more serious. Remember, Nina received a weapon as a gift from Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). There is reason to believe that this weapon could be used in the showdown.

Nina might not mean to hurt Carly, but it would give Wright a reason to disappear for a while. After all, Carly’s absence will have to be explained as she recently had to stop filming due to COVID-19. So, Carly won’t die and Nina might not intentionally cause harm, but Sonny’s picnic date could blow up into a much bigger story than anyone ever expected.
