GH Spoilers: Sonny Takes It To The Next Level, Romances Nina

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that after she lost the petition for the right to see her grandson, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver), Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) tried to run as far from Port Charles as possible. Because not only did Nina lose the court case, but she allowed her attorney Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) to portray Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) as a threat to women, given his past with Claudia Zacchara (Sarah Joy Brown). But her underhanded tactics didn’t work, and now Nina doesn’t want to face the world, including Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard).

But Sonny has fallen in love with Nina, and doesn’t want to let her go; He went as far as to testify against his own son on Nina’s behalf. And now that Nina lost, Michael and Sonny will likely never be able to repair their relationship. Michael has gone as far as to say that he wants to destroy Sonny’s business. But regardless, Sonny won’t let go of Nina even though she let his family believe he was dead for several months while he was living with amnesia in Nixon Falls. Sonny and Nina fell in love there and even when Sonny’s memories returned, his feelings for Nina were still there.

Knowing how devastated Nina is, Sonny tried to convince Nina not to be a quitter. But he will likely have to do more than that to change Nina’s mind permanently. So, look for Sonny to begin romancing Nina in earnest. Having a romantic relationship with Sonny won’t change the court’s ruling, but it will give Nina something to look forward to. She had hoped for a possible relationship with Sonny, but never thought it would come to pass, Now, with nothing else holding them back, Sonny will be ready to give Nina what she wants!

Nina will be glad she stayed when she discovered that not only was Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) her biological daughter but so is Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Nina was comatose when she gave birth and wasn’t even sure she gave birth until recently, With Nelle’s death, Nina thought Wiley was her last chance to be a mother. But for now, the only person who knows that Willow and Nina are related is Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Carly sees no reason to tell either Willow or Nina since there is no love lost between them. But Willow’s heath has been causing concern in recent weeks and it seems quite likely that she will need some sort of transplant or transfusion from a blood relative. Carly will be forced to reveal the truth, and more likely Willow and Nina will eventually form a bond. But if Sonny had allowed Nina to leave, she might have missed the opportunity to find out about Willow and possibly even save her life!
