GH Spoilers: Sasha Makes A Big Decision, On The Road To Healing?

General Hospital: Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson)General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) will make a big decision soon, after breaking down in Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) arms. Now that she’s come to the point of admitting she needs help, will she take that first step down the road to healing?

General Hospital Spoilers – A Breakdown With Tears

Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Sasha were having lunch in the Port Charles Grill when Sasha had a meltdown. Lucy had to give her bad news, because of unfavorable optics and publicity that she would need to step away at least for a time, as the Face of Deception. They could probably structure it as a leave of absence but unfortunately, the business has to go on and so ultimately Sasha could be replaced.

Sasha became enraged and created a terrible scene, and she became somewhat violent, drawing the unwanted attention of the other customers and the restaurant manager. Lucy felt for her and one could tell it was difficult for her, but Brando came through the door, Sasha broke down in tears and said she needed help.

GH Spoilers – The First Step

The first step for a person who needs help of any type is to admit they need it, whether it be for addictions, emotional problems or mental disease. Brando, as a former addict himself knows this and prior to this time, Sasha was trying to handle her obviously deep and crippling grief on her own. Her throwing herself into her work and taking the pills were only a crutch, and were only pushing her pain even deeper; Sasha’s pain was like a volcano. The buildup was eventually going to come out, and it began coming out explosively, the symptoms of a much deeper problem. Brando has known this- having been through drug rehabilitation, the deeper problems must be dealt with in order for the rehab to succeed.

General Hospital Spoilers – A Major Decision

Because of all Sasha has been through, including facing criminal charges and now being what she interpreted as fired, she now faces a major decision. She had declined Attorney Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) idea for Brando to take over as her guardian, feeling the judge would look more favorably on it. No one can blame Sasha for not wanting to give up her independence, but in this case it may be her only chance to escape prison time.

Sasha’s major decision may be to go through with allowing Brando to become her guardian, and also to enter treatment. Her admitting she needed help may have been the breakthrough she needed to move forward with her life and to receive the deep healing she needs.
