GH Spoilers: Robert Knows Holly Is Lying — Diane Leans In

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveals Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) has been on cloud nine since Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) returned to his life. He never quite got over losing her, nor had he forgiven himself for not trying harder to bring her home. Finding out she’s still alive has been the second chance Robert never thought he would get, and didn’t think he deserved.

The embrace and kiss they shared in the Metro Court hallway this week left Robert feeling alive again. No one could blame him for lying to himself about what he’s really feeling — he doesn’t trust Holly. He wants to, but something just isn’t right, and he won’t be able to fool himself much longer. Fortunately, he won’t have to choose between Holly or loneliness for much longer either.

Something just isn’t sitting right with Robert. Ever since Holly came home, she’s been aloof. Insisting she has zero memory of where she was for the last two years, she seems otherwise intact and happy. Why isn’t it bothering Holly that she doesn’t know what happened to her? Why isn’t she the most furious one in the crowd demanding to know and working to find answers to fill in the gaps in her mind? Why did she react so abruptly to Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) suggestion that she seek Dr. Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) help in figuring it all out? Robert doesn’t need any more evidence that Holly isn’t on the up and up, but he still hates it.

GH Spoilers – Suggest Robert Scorpio Lays A Trap

Knowing he can’t possibly surmise what Holly is really up to, Robert is going to have to set a trap for her that she won’t see coming. He’s going to need the help of a few savvy friends to get the job done, too. Obviously, Laura knows Holly isn’t being forthcoming; so she might be on board to assist Robert in this feat. But an unlikely friend could step forward to play the role of the innocent outsider that helps carry this plan out. Holly won’t trust it from anyone too close to her. It needs to be someone who doesn’t know her like they do.

Will Robert invite Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) to play cat and mouse with him and help trap Holly inside her own lies? As Diane and Robert spend more time together, she’s going to get to see the side of him that is so pained to put Holly through this entrapment.
