GH Spoilers: Portia Plows Ahead With Plans For A Wedding Absent The Truth

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) hasn’t been letting Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) in on the truth. She’s been sweating the results of his genetic screening test as much as he has, but for a very different reason.

While Curtis is worried that they might have impeded the couple’s decision to have children together, Portia is worried about the child they already have together. Of course, Curtis isn’t concerned with that because he has no idea they already have a child together. Portia’s plan to never tell Curtis could go off without a hitch if only Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) had never found out the truth.

Curtis is going to get the call to come to the hospital for his test results. We might expect Portia to be by his side when he receives the news, but Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) could be a more fitting support system at the moment. When Curtis finds out he does not carry the markers for Schizophrenia, he’s going to feel an immense sense of relief about his future — especially given he’s planning a wedding just a few months from now to Portia, and they want children soon after. On the surface, it’s going to look like everything is falling into place. On the inside, Portia will still be falling apart.

With a clean bill of health on the books, Curtis and Portia will both look to the future with wide eyes. Portia might have a fleeting thought about Jordan, but she’s going to assume Jordan will have to understand that there’s no need to disrupt everyone’s lives when no one’s health is in jeopardy. The way Portia sees it, telling the truth now would only break hearts — and not just for Curtis, but for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews), too.

Jordan probably won’t be in the immediate vicinity when Curtis finds out he and his children are in the clear for Schizophrenia, but given the personal nature of their continued friendship as exes, he’s probably going to tell her — if Portia doesn’t first.

One thing’s for sure — Jordan’s next encounter with Portia won’t be as cordial as the last one. Jordan is going to expect that Portia plans to tell Curtis the truth despite the pressing need to based on concerning health factors. When Jordan realizes Portia has no intent to tell anyone anything now, she just might have the nerve to issue her own veiled threat about telling Curtis herself. Things are about to get fiery between Curtis’ ex and future Mrs.
