GH Spoilers: Operation Save Anna – Valentin Makes A Plan

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) makes a plan to save Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) from Pentonville Prison. He makes a visit as soon as he, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain) are back from Switzerland, and likely Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) as well.

General Hospital Spoilers – A “Devane” Miracle

Of course Valentin wants Anna to know her call to Laura resulted in if not a divine miracle, like he said to Laura, a “Devane” miracle. Laura had disguised herself as a nun and Kevin as a priest and were able to infiltrate the Catholic school in Switzerland where Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) had Charlotte. As one of Victor’s henchman had seen through Valentin’s story and would not let him go after Charlotte, “Sister” Laura knocked him out with a large candlestick.

Then they encountered a different henchman who saw through Laura’s story that the first one drank the communion wine. He was knocked out by “Father” Kevin and they escaped, bringing Charlotte back to Port Charles with them, undoubtedly to a safe house.

GH Spoilers – Avoiding “Father”

It’s quite a different “father” that Valentin avoids after returning to Port Charles and telling Anna he has a plan; he knows that Victor likely has eyes on him. But he also knows that instead of getting on Victor’s plane to Switzerland and being killed he was taken to Charlotte and was safe. He can’t be sure that Victor doesn’t know that they brought Charlotte back, but he does know Laura came through, and he’s got a plan to save Anna. Anna tells Valentin that she’s being transferred from the jail at the Port Charles Police Department to Pentonville Prison tonight, so time is of the essence. That is too short a time to prove Victor’s set up, find Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) alive and who impersonated Anna but there is time to get Anna rescued and hidden.

General Hospital Spoilers – Here’s How It Could Happen

While James Patrick Stuart, who plays Valentin notes in Soap Opera Digest that he can’t let all the cats out of the bag, they filmed “some pretty cool stuff”. There’s an excellent chance that Operation Save Anna will involve some people on her side collaborating to get her off to safety during the proposed prison transfer. Everyone in the PCPD believes Anna is innocent and has been framed, but have not yet been able to prove it.

Even Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) may find himself working with Valentin to help free Anna, but he should take care who he speaks to. Some whom he trusts are funneling information back to Victor, and he’d never believe who!
