GH Spoilers: Nikolas Puts Esme Up at Wyndemere, And He Doesn’t Hate it

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates reveals when Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) turned up in the living room at Wyndemere where she was trying to hack her way into Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) safe, she may have already known her intent was to get caught. She didn’t really want to run out the door. After all, she had nowhere to run to. Wyndemere was her home, last she had one. It’s the only place she has any remaining connections — even if they aren’t healthy ones. Her relationship with Nikolas was the last bit of kindness anyone in Port Charles had shown her. It makes sense, in a way, that she’s back for more. The question is: is Nikolas down with that? The answer might surprise us all.

General Hospital Spoilers — Nikolas Cassadine Is Lost And Lonely

Right now, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is doing time in Pentonville. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) still hasn’t come back to Wyndemere, unless you count returning to request her belongings be packed up. Nikolas is lonely in that big castle, pacing the halls and running on empty for ideas of how to win back his wife’s affection.

Without any real direction in his life at the moment, and no one quality to spend his time with, Esme’s manipulative ways may have an impact on the Cassadine prince once again. Will he come to enjoy her companionship as he keeps her around Wyndemere to protect himself as well as Esme and his potential unborn child?

GH Spoilers – Tease Esme Price Will Need a Knight In Shining Armor

There’s nothing Nikolas loves more than adoration and a challenge. He found that with Ava. She isn’t needy — like so many of the other women Nikolas has loved — but she did come to trust him to take care of her heart, and she did return his feelings. There are certainly plenty of challenges in his marriage with Ava, but potentially more in his relationship with Esme.

Esme has no one, as far as Nikolas knows. She could very well be having his baby, and he is her only source of comfort, support, or housing. He’s the key to her freedom from her crimes, too. If Nikolas starts to feel like Esme needs him, he may soften up to her charms — and we can bet she knows that.

One of Nikolas’ biggest regrets is putting his son second to his own needs. He had forsaken Spencer as a child and let him think his father was dead just so he could chase down the Cassadine fortune. Faced with an ultimatum that is sure to come from Ava requiring him to choose between her or Esme, Nikolas will see the choice as once again having to choose between his own desires or his child’s wellbeing.
