GH Spoilers: Nikolas In Throes Of Midlife Crisis? Will Fans See NESME?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) could be in the throes of a midlife crisis and ditch Ava Cassadine (Maura West) for a much younger woman! Future episodes of GH may see NESME as a couple, and Nik married to Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl)!

General Hospital Spoilers – Soapy Soap, Standard Trope!

A soapy soap will often use a standard trope of a much younger woman stealing a wealthy man away from his much older wife to get his money! But usually the man is much older – say, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) old; that’s not saying a rejected Ava might not snatch him up; he seems quite taken with her! But the stage may already be set for a scenario where Esme might actually become Mrs. Nikolas Cassadine, which would be right in her playbook!

For one thing, she’s already applied the try before you buy policy, as he has with her- even though it supposedly “just happened” she’s been planning it. As for Nikolas, he was far too willing to do the horizontal mambo with the not-so-sweet young thing!

GH Spoilers – Having Nikolas Cassadine For A Son-In-Law May Not Quite Be What Ryan Chamberlain Expects…

Esme’s birth father definitely would want Ava as his wife, but having Nikolas as his son-in-law may not quite be what Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is expecting! That was definitely NOT in Ryan’s orders to Esme – he wanted her to seduce Nikolas to break his marriage to Ava up, but he didn’t say anything about marrying him afterwards! Ryan should know by now he has a stubborn and willful daughter, but marrying Nikolas would accomplish something for him – a source of income! Ryan and Esme do need funds, and chances are Esme will never let the secret out that she and Ryan share, namely that they are father and daughter!  She doesn’t seem to have a trust fund any more so she’ll need to funnel some of that Cassadine money she gets from her rich husband to dear old dad!

General Hospital Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine’s Bruised Ego Has Needed Soothing

Viewers can see that Nikolas has a rather bruised ego these days and it has needed soothing – Esme was right there to soothe both his ego and his more personal parts! It will need even more soothing if Ava goes after Victor once the divorce is completed – but there goes Esme’s plan to get Ava out of the family! And what will Ryan do if Ava hooks up with – he may not be so evenly matched; all those years Ryan was in the DVX and couldn’t take out Victor?!

Poor Ryan may have his own bruised ego to deal with if Esme marries Nikolas and Ava marries Victor before Ryan can get her attention! But wait a minute there – Esme has to get the Cassadine money, and there’s one more family member she’s forgotten in this deal!

GH Spoilers – What About Spencer Cassadine – What Is He Going To Think?

Nikolas’ midlife crisis that Esme takes advantage of by marrying Nikolas after Ava dumps him for Victor has one more person who’ll be mad and wounded! Spencer – by this time he’s probably lost all his chances with Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and she’ll be married to Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse)! And where have Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) been during all of this Cassadine chaos – probably wishing they’d done an intervention on Nikolas a long time ago! Spencer will probably move to California and reconnect with Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Selzer) his childhood crush!
