GH Spoilers – Nelle’s Back, Did Chase Lie To Protect Her?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) may not be as dead as people believe. As viewers know, Nelle seemingly fell to her death after Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) was unable to save her. But her body was supposedly found and identified by Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). If Nelle has actually been alive all this time, does that mean that Chase lied? And although that seems unlikely, it could have happened.

General Hospital Spoilers – Harrison Chase Was omantically Involved With Nelle Benson!

Before either of them came to Port Charles, Nelle and Chase had a brief affair in Florida. Nelle was using Chase to get out of a murder charge. And even when they were both in town, Nelle tried to convince Chase to murder Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). The two of them have quite a bit of history so perhaps Chase could have lied that Nelle was dead in order to give his ex a fresh start.

GH Spoilers – Harrison Chase And Brook Lynn Quartermaine Are Finally Together!

If Chase did lie to protect Nelle, the one person who wouldn’t be happy is Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Before she died, Nelle slit Brook Lynn’s throat, and the young woman almost died herself. Brook Lynn survived but her singing career was over. Even though Brook Lynn and Chase are now a couple, she will have a hard time understanding how Chase could protect the woman who almost killed her.

General Hospital Spoilers – Is It All A Dream?

It seems much more likely that Nelle is truly dead and gone. Her upcoming return will more than likely be someone’s dream or hallucination. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) didn’t find out she was Nelle’s biological mother until after Nelle’s death. Perhaps Nina will dream of what life might have been like if Nina and Chloe had found each other before Nelle died. Perhaps Nelle would still be alive and wouldn’t have gone down the path that eventually took her life. It wouldn’t have likely changed anything, but Nina believes that it would have. Perhaps her dream will convince her otherwise.
