At Volonino’s Gym, Chase delivers some shocking news to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) after finding out she cost him his chance at reinstatement to the police force.
Brook Lynn has been so focused on managing his superstar singing career and being his manager so he could sing her songs, she ignored requests to write a letter.
The civilian review board wanted a letter from her recommending why he should be reinstated, and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had sent several texts.
Chase found out and was so angry he broke up their romantic relationship, and now he fires her as his manager. An angry Chase tells a shocked Brook Lynn he’ll do whatever it takes not to be tethered to her.
At Charlie’s Pub, Drew makes his suspicions known to Denise Makenzie (Alice Rietveld) who looks just a bit offended at his accusations. He eyeballs her in front of the bar as he tells her he thinks she didn’t tell him everything she knows.
That would be correct, because Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) paid her to not tell the true tale and parrot Harmony Miller’s (Inga Cadranel) story instead. Harmony’s story had been that an unwed mother named Joan (uncast character) came to the commune and gave her baby to the cult leader Josiah (uncast character).
Josiah gave the newborn baby girl to Harmony and her husband who named her Kali Miller who later changed her name to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Also at Charlie’s Pub, Drew meets with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) who knows the truth about Harmony, although she may not know the real story of Willow.
But Alexis tells him he had him at “Harmony” since she knew Harmony had files Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) had kept on her sessions. Harmony killed his brother over the files, which he’d blackmailed her with and Carly had caught her burning them in Alexis’ fireplace, her having stayed in her home at the time.
For sure, Drew will have more questions for Carly when Alexis tells him what she knows, even though both almost lost their lives that night to an off-the-rails Harmony. This conversation should prove to be very interesting.
At the Jerome Art Gallery, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has a warning for her friend and roommate Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West).
She obviously knows about the divorce papers from Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and perhaps saw Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) leaving the gallery.
She tells Ava she wants her to promise she’s not going to do something she’s going to regret. Ava is likely regretting she ever met Nikolas at this point.
Meanwhile, back with Carly, she’s obviously a worried mom and she wants Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to do something Joss is blindsided by.
With the hook killing of Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) and another person in the apartment he and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) were investigating, she wants Joss safe. Josslyn doesn’t sound like she’s going to take her mother’s advice, however.
She’s incredulous as she asks Carly to repeat what she just told her. She asks does her mother want her to leave Port Charles?
It looks like Michael and Willow are at General Hospital where she’s receiving her chemotherapy. Michael is second guessing a decision they’ve made, and tells her he’s not sure they should go through with this.
He may be worried about the effects of the chemotherapy, but he could also be worried about the search for her birth family. She’s at the point where she needs a bone marrow transplant, but if she’s put on a list for donor needed they might find a match faster.
