GH Spoilers: Lying Liar Carly Leads Drew Down The Wrong Path

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Carly justifying her actions as she does the wrong thing once again. She’s Carly and it’s the only thing she knows how to do.

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Spencer’s Self-Sabotage

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) actually has a man believing she is honest to a fault, which is quite a feat for a lying liar who lies like Carly. Of course, she is going to blow that with her latest little machinations and deceit — and hopefully, we don’t have to wait too long to see that happen.

Gullible Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) believed Carly beyond a shadow of a doubt when she told him that Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) must have been lying because it turned out that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was not Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) real mother.

As we know, Carly was lying through her teeth as she told herself the crazy woman who had just drugged her and put her in a car trunk had to have been right. Nina loves too much, so why burden Willow with the truth? She might have a mother who cares and doesn’t try to pawn her off to a cult leader rapist. And if she couldn’t tell Willow the truth, then she had to lie to Drew, too.

GH Spoilers – Carly Spencer Will Do Anything To Keep Her Secret

So, when Carly learns that Drew has a lead on finding Willow’s real family, she has to ensure that the lead goes nowhere. What are a few more lies and manipulations to a man who delusionally believes you are honest to a fault?

Her first suggestion is for Drew to not tell Willow anything yet for fake fear of getting her hopes up. Dumb Drew agrees and then Carly sets to work calling in some connections (Brick, anyone?) to make sure his lead goes absolutely nowhere.

“He’s fully oblivious,” Cameron Mathison said in the December 12, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest. It’s not in his wildest dreams that Carly has been up to something like this. When somebody pulls the wool over your eyes that you don’t think would do such a thing, you just don’t see it coming.”

Perhaps Drew should have remembered the Carly from before he was presumed dead for two years. Then maybe he wouldn’t be so gullible. Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see how this story plays out.
