GH Spoilers: Liz Saves Esme During Pregnancy Scare?

General Hospital spoilers tease, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) could’ve avoided this entire mess with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) had he made it to the mainland a few moments earlier to whisk Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) back to Wyndemere. Too little, too late.

Despite Esme’s attempts to induce anxiety in Nikolas, he stood firm that Liz wouldn’t give him up to the police, and she didn’t. When Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) came calling, Liz said she knew someone else was present, but she didn’t see who it was that left the pier with Esme. Liz is taking a big risk lying to the police. She has no idea whether they’ll be able to track down footage that would show Nikolas was with Esme, or that he interacted with Liz. Nonetheless, she covered for him, and that may not be the end of the lengths to which she’ll go to help him.

General Hospital Spoilers — Liz Webber And Nikolas Cassadine Butt Heads

Nikolas will try his darndest to convince Elizabeth he needs her discretion, but Liz is going to struggle with how he could possibly ask her to keep Esme’s whereabouts a secret after all she did to Liz’s son, Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton). Don’t be surprised if she dredges up the past and reminds Nikolas of what happened to his relationship with his own son when he put his own interests above being a father. Liz has never put her boys last and she’s not about to for the likes of Esme — or so she thinks.

GH Spoilers – Indicate An Emergency Arises

That’s when Esme is going to end up in dire need of support. She’s gone nearly half her pregnancy without any kind of prenatal care. No one knows whether the baby is even healthy, and the closer they get to the birth, the more nervous Nikolas becomes about the child’s wellbeing. When Esme has a health emergency while Liz is there, she’s going to do what any good nurse would do and step in. She’ll also attempt to call 9-1-1, but Nikolas will beg her not to in the moment, and she will concede.

When Liz is able to mitigate the problem and calm Esme’s nerves, Nikolas’ belief that she’s a necessary part of his plan moving forward is only going to be reinforced. Will Elizabeth agree to see Esme through the pregnancy — for Nikolas’ sake — before they turn her in?

General Hospital spoilers say Nikolas will plead a strong case. He has a second chance to be a father again — and to do things the right way. Whether he really intends to raise this child or not is irrelevant. Right now, he needs to convince Elizabeth to help him safely deliver him or her. What happens next isn’t part of the plan Liz is privy to, and Nikolas might not feel like oversharing — especially in Esme’s presence.

Liz and Nikolas just might have a history solid enough to get her to agree to helping him for the baby’s sake, and because it’s his baby. When Nikolas tells Liz he can’t do this without her — as is evidenced by the way she managed Esme’s prenatal health scare — Liz will reluctantly agree to jump on board his crazy scheme, but only until the baby is born!
