GH Spoilers: Liz Faces Past Demons, Chaos Erupts Over Familiar Face

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Jeff Webber (formerly Richard Dean Anderson) could drop by G.H. to check on his daughter, Liz Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). Will Liz be confronted by her past at a very vulnerable point? Has Jake Webber (Hudson West) invited a bunch of unwanted demons into Liz’s life?

General Hospital Spoilers: Liz Baldwin Has Family Struggles

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Liz has struggled with family issues for years. Liz was abandoned by her parents when she was a teenager. Both Liz and her sister Sarah Webber (ex- Sarah Laine) were brought to Port Charles and rarely contacted by their parents at all. Jeff hasn’t bothered to come to his daughter no matter what crisis she has suffered in life.

Liz has needed support several times over the years but hasn’t received any help at all. Liz has suffered miscarriages, lost her son at one point, lost her husband, etc., and not once has her parents come to her. Why would Jeff suddenly appear out of nowhere?

General Hospital: Jake Webber May Be Involved

General Hospital’s Jake has been corresponding with his grandparents behind his mother’s back. Liz doesn’t want her boys involved with her parents. Liz believes her parents are best kept out of her kids lives because she doesn’t want the boys to feel rejected as she and her sister did.

Meanwhile, Liz has been pretending to be ok and has insisted on returning to work. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is very concerned about Liz’s decision and wonders if she didn’t leave the facility way too early for her own good. All the mentions of Liz’s father lately have made one wonder if he is about to show up and how she would react if he does.

GH Spoilers: Could Finn Get The Blame?

G.H. spoilers reveal that no matter what, Finn is likely to get the blame if Jeff does show up. Finn has never reached out to Liz’s parents but always seemed to be targeted for their involvement. One would have to wonder if Jake is setting Finn up to take the fall. Liz knows that Jake is the only one who has been communicating with her parents at all, so why blame Finn?

Is Liz using her parents to sabotage her relationship with Finn? Liz wants someone to blame for her parent’s potential arrival but that isn’t the extent of her issues. Liz has been sabotaging her and Finn’s relationship for some time. Perhaps Liz doesn’t want to be with Finn but is afraid to admit it.

If Jeff shows up, it is very unlikely that Finn called him. However, Jeff does seem to be the most likely trigger of Liz’s emotional issues. Could Jeff’s arrival help her get to the bottom of her problems?
