GH Spoilers: Laura Shuts Out Kevin In The Wake Of Tragedy!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that tragedy will once again rear it’s ugly head in Port Charles. Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is on her way back to town, and she comes bearing bad news for the Spencer family. Tracy will share that her lover, Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) is dead. This news will devastate the entire town, as Luke is a legend there. But no one will be impacted more that his ex-wife, Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis).

For years, the names Luke and Laura were synonymous. Although their love story began with violence, somehow they managed to put that behind them. They had a great love and many adventures together before they finally decided to divorce a few years ago. The news of Luke’s death will stun Laura, who may struggle with how to grieve. She may feel that since they are no longer married, her grief isn’t as important as it is for others. Laura will try to remain strong and not show any emotion, even though it will be clear that she is hurting.

As the news spreads about Luke’s death, Laura’s friends and family will grow concerned as she seems to be holding back her own pain. Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will try to get Laura to open up, but she will shut him down, at least at first, claiming that she is fine. But it will soon become obvious that simply isn’t true. Laura will struggle with whether or not to tell a comatose Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) about Luke’s death. Fearing Lulu might have a setback, Laura might opt to keep silent at least for now. It will Likely be Tracy who gets through to Laura.

General Hospital Spoilers – Tracy Quartermaine Has Come To Term With Luke Spencer’s Past.

Tracy made peace long ago regarding Luke’s past with Laura. Tracy knows that Luke loved her in the end, but that doesn’t negate the bond that Luke and Laura would always have. They share children together. It might just take Tracy to do what Tracy does best, which is to get under Laura’s skin. Knowing Laura needs to get her feelings out, look for Tracy to push her until Laura finally breaks down. It will be painful for both of them, but in the end it will be exactly what Laura needs to process her grief. At this point, Laura will likely go to Kevin and share her feelings. Laura’s friends and family will be relived when Laura stops trying to be strong for everyone else and lets her grief come over her.
