General Hospital spoilers reveal that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is paying special attention to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). During an interview, co-head writer Dan O’Connor said that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) fears for the souls of both Spencer and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

According to Soaps.com, co-head writers Dan O’Connor and Chris Van Etten discussed Victor’s storyline. The scribes confirmed that Victor definitely has a long-term plan in mind. The writers also hinted at the reason why Victor is focusing so much on Spencer. Victor is preparing the next generation of the Cassadine family for a very important reason.

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Laura is worried about the souls of her family, particularly Spencer and Nikolas. O’Connor told the publication,

“Victor is presenting himself as a potential patriarch figure for the Cassadine family, which is something that hasn’t been present on the canvas in a very long time. And that worries Laura, because she can already sense that there may be an upcoming battle for the souls of her nearest and dearest, particularly her son, Nikolas, and grandson, Spencer.”

GH Spoilers – What About Esme Prince?

Victor isn’t just concentrating on Spencer, though. The villain also seems interested in Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Van Etten teased that Victor will always prioritize family. However, Esme has the chance to prove herself and become part of the family. This will get more complicated as Spencer is finally seeing that Esme is far more dangerous than he thought. In order to become part of the Cassadine family, Esme needs to stay with Spencer. That will be difficult if Spencer follows his heart with Trina Robinson (Sydney Makayla).

At the same time, it is teased that Victor could be underestimating Esme, as is everyone else. People realize that Esme is up to no good, but how much more damage will she cause? Will she accomplish her goals or will someone stop her before it’s too late?

O’Connor added,

“Anyone who underestimates Esme does so at their own risk, Victor included!”
