General Hospital Spoilers – Biopsy And All Alone

Willow also insisted on doing it alone. Willow didn’t want to tell Michael or anyone else about the diagnosis until it was confirmed.
GH Spoilers – Katelyn MacMullen Opens Up
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest magazine, MacMullen talked about Willow’s heartbreaking storyline. The actress said,
“Hearing that is shocking and heartbreaking and terrifying. For her, finding out that it could be leukemia is like, ‘Okay, now I’m in a race of needing to figure out if I have it or not.’ And being pregnant adds a whole other factor to it, because now it’s not just her life she’s worried about, it’s her baby’s.”
As for why Willow isn’t telling Michael about it, the actress explained that the diagnosis isn’t completely certain yet. Of course, this could be Willow’s way of trying to avoid having the heartbreaking conversation. Plus, there is the factor of what the treatment entails. Can Willow fight leukemia while pregnant? Will she be forced to choose between her life and the life of her unborn child?
“She keeps saying things like, ‘Michael is going through so much right now and I don’t want to ruin the happiness that we have over something that might not even be the case.’ She’s thinking, ‘Once I have answers about what I’m dealing with, then I’ll tell Michael.’”
