GH Spoilers: Jeff And Heather Share a Secret About Their Family

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveals Jeff Webber (William R. Moses) is on his way back to Monterey, California to be with his wife, Carolyn Webber (Denise Crosby), but he couldn’t leave Port Charles without swinging by Spring Ridge first — to see his ex-wife, Heather Webber (Alley Mills). Jeff’s visit was brief, just long enough to warn Heather she would regret it if she came anywhere near anyone in his family again.

That’s rich coming from him, especially since they share a family. Of course, everyone knows that Jeff’s grandsons — Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton), Jake Spencer (Hudson West), and AidenSpencer (Enzo De Angelis) — are also Heather’s step-grandchildren. But in light of Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) death, are they really tied together at all anymore? Indeed they are, more than anyone else knows.

While he was at Spring Ridge, Jeff laid his eyes on Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) for the first time in many years. Revisiting history during his time in Port Charles sure has been eye-opening for Jeff. The tension at Spring Ridge could have been cut with a knife as Jeff warned Heather to steer clear of his family, and they both eyed Ryan from a table across the room.

While memories of Jeff’s tormented past with Heather flew through his mind, there was most certainly an unspoken memory they both shared, and Ryan knows a thing or two about it, too. Could it be the well-kept secret that Jeff and Heather share more family than meets the eye? The truth is, Heather is Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) birth mother.

Years ago when Heather gave birth to Esme, it was Jeff who played doctor to her and helped her facilitate the secret adoption that left no record of where Esme came from. It was best that way. Heather knew she couldn’t care for another child after Steven Webber (Scott Reeves). It was best to let someone else share Esme — and a couple, at that. Heather didn’t have anyone to help her bring her daughter up. Why not? Where was Ryan?

Is Heather in on the scheme to make her think her father is someone else? How will Esme react when she finds out her father isn’t locked up in a prison but living his life all these years as though his daughter never existed?
