General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, July 22 tease mismatches, miracles needed and mystery men come into play in the next GH!

General Hospital Spoilers: Thoroughly Mismatched

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Theibaud) announces time of death NOW for her first date with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). Britt finds Cody boring and not at all what she was expecting; thinking she’d hear about his adventurous life. As far as she’s concerned they are thoroughly mismatched and Society Setups met with a glitch!

She did approach Comet the horse, hesitantly because she didn’t like horses, but at least he ordered from Metro Court. However, there is probably zero chance she’ll give him a second chance.

GH Spoilers: You Honestly Can’t Be Considering That

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) tells Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) he can’t honestly be considering Linc Brown’s (Dan Buran) spiel on managing him as a singer. Even though that had originally been Brook Lynn’s plot, to take down Linc by Chase being an undercover singer of sorts, now she’s hesitant. He wants to go through with it and take the unsavory music manager down.

No doubt Chase wowed the crowd at the Haunted Star open mike night, but she knew he would. He wowed the audience at the Nurses Ball every time he performed there too .

General Hospital Spoilers: Our Side Is Going To Need The Miracle

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is very worried about the outcome of her daughter’s trial, especially after Curtis Ashfoed (Donnell Turner) tells her the bartender lead went nowhere. Trina Robinson, (Tabyana Ali) along with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) took a risk hunting down Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) the bartender that sold Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) the phone. Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Arden (Jennifer Field) even put Officer Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) on the stand stating had let Josslyn and Trina go with a warning. That just made them all look bad, considering Trina and Joss were underage; she tells Curtis and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) their side is going to need the miracle.

GH Spoilers: I Would Totally Trust You

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Damian Spinelli are still talking at the Haunted Star after she accused him of stalking her. Spinelli doesn’t trust Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and thinks he’s not what he’s claiming to be. Maxie tells him if she were still single she would totally trust him, but things still got a little tense between them. Maxie wants more of an explanation why Spinelli doesn’t trust Austin then just his opinion. Maxie needs answers but Spinelli seems to remain evasive.

General Hospital Spoilers:  Why Are You Here – I Don’t Answer To You

Meanwhile, outside on the deck of The Haunted Star, the mystery man is talking to Austin, who had told him to stay away from Maxie and her family.  The tall man with the bald head and the overdeveloped attitude of arrogance is only known as “M” (uncredited actor). Austin continues to argue with him, telling him he doesn’t answer to him and he is not coming back to Pautauk.

It seems that Spinelli may be right that Austin has some secrets, and they have something to do with “M” and why he’s there. Austin may not answer to him, but there might be someone over him demanding Austin’s return.

GH Spoilers: You Don’t Understand How Far My Reach Extends

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) finds himself outside in a car with Selina Wu (Lydia Look), desperate to help Trina beat her charges. She says he still doesn’t understand how far her reach extends, and he must be looking for help to prove Esmé set Trina up. Curtis will make a deal, and she seems willing to help. But at what cost; anything revealed that smacks of impropriety will ruin Trina’s chances at being exonerated. He may be wanting Selina to find that bartender.

General Hospital Spoilers: I Can’t Wait For What Comes Next

No one else may know where Oz Haggerty, (Max Faugno) the Highsiders bartender who sold Esmé the phone she framed Trina with is, but she does. He took off in a hurry when Ava Cassadine (Maura West) came through the door when he was at Wyndemere with Esmé. Now Esmé is sitting in his seedy hotel room and apparently they know each other better than they claim; she tells him she can’t wait for what comes next.

Esmé apparently has some kind of leverage on this guy, because he was threatening to expose her. She continues to plead with him not to but doesn’t seem to even flinch.
