General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) has been a fixture at General Hospital for years now. And while we aren’t privy to much of her life outside of General Hospital in recent years, we’ve recently been reminded that Epiphany is an amazing singer. She’s been a performer off and on at the Nurses’ Ball and she always sings her heart out! But unlike Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), Epiphany doesn’t dream of having an amazing musical career.

From the moment they met; Epiphany and Marshall Ashford (Roger Gossett) bonded over their mutual love of music. Marshall was putting a band together and he wanted Epiphany to be its lead singer. Epiphany said she would think about it, but only if it didn’t conflict with her work schedule, Marshall noticed how knowledgeable Epiphany was and wondered why she wasn’t a doctor. Epiphany admitted that being a doctor had always been her dream.

Marshall reminds Epiphany that she should go to medical school every time they run into each other. Marshall is quite correct that Epiphany already knows more than some doctors that he has met. But whatever prevented her from becoming a doctor in the first place still sticks with her today, Epiphany is quite confident about her abilities as a nurse but is paralyzed at the thought of taking her career to the next level,

Epiphany will eventually realize that Marshall is right and there is no one stopping her but herself. It won’t be easy juggling medical school with her already busy nursing schedule. But it won’t be all that long before Epiphany Johnson becomes the amazing doctor she was always meant to be! Marshall himself seems to be shady and may be the next rival Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) faces in the never ending mob wars of Port Charles.
