GH Spoilers: Elizabeth Frees Esme, Puts Her Fate In Esme’s Hands!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) wasn’t happy to discover that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) had not only gotten Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) pregnant but that he was holding her captive at Wyndemere. Nikolas convinced Elizabeth that Esme was the Hook, the serial killer who has been terrorizing Port Charles. Elizabeth thought she was helping to keep a killer off the streets by allowing Nikolas to keep the killer imprisoned. Elizabeth agreed to provide medical care to a very pregnant Esme.

Recently, the Hook took another victim when Rory Cabrera (Michael E Kruse) became the killer’s newest victim. Elizabeth knows that Esme couldn’t have killed Rory since Esme was imprisoned at Wyndemere at the time. That changed everything as far as Elizabeth was concerned. She wasn’t helping save Port Charles from the Hook. Esme may have done some terrible things, but she isn’t a killer and Elizabeth will be mortified that she is now an accessory in Nikolas’ crimes.

Elizabeth believes that it is too late for her to let Esme go. Esme will certainly turn her in and Elizabeth could go to jail or even lose her nursing license. Elizabeth’s guilt may soon get the better of her so look for her to go behind Nikolas’ back and help Esme escape his clutches. Elizabeth will leave her fate in Esme’s hands, even though it is almost certain that Esme will have no problem turning Elizabeth in.

In the past, Esme would have screamed at the top of her lungs to anyone who would listen to her the names of everyone who has wronged her. But Esme will remember that Elizabeth tried to make sure both Esme and her baby were taken care of, despite being a prisoner. Look for her to surprise not only Elizabeth but herself as well when she fails to mention that Elizabeth had been helping Nikolas and was well aware that Esme was being held against her will.
