GH Spoilers: Drew Debates Telling Willow About Harmony’s Deathbed Confession

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) really feels for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) right now. Willow has changed her mind about finding her birth parents and wants to start searching for them right away. Drew knows all too well that anyone in those shoes has to get to the point of wanting to find their birth parents in their own time. They can’t be rushed. However, now that Willow is eager to find her birth mom and dad, Drew is over the moon to assist her in finding the same happiness he knows he has found with the Quartermaine family.

At first, Drew’s only intention is to help get Willow’s story out all over the country so that they can have the best chance at connecting with someone that was living on the same commune Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) raised Willow on so many years ago. However, when Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) gets wind of his plan, she really tries to persuade Drew not to go to such great lengths to find Willow’s family, and this gives Drew serious pause about what his new girlfriend is up to. Why wouldn’t Carly want Willow to find her birth parents, and why wouldn’t she want Drew to help her do it faster and more effectively?

GH Spoilers – Indicate He Will Consider Coming Clean with Willow Tait

Drew hates where his mind is going, but the only plausible theory is that Carly actually knows who Willow’s mother is, and that means one of two things. One, Willow’s mom is Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), or two, it’s not Nina but Carly still knows who it is. Either way, the result means Carly already knows where Willow’s mom is and she’s intentionally withholding that information. This is going to leave Drew feeling a bit unnerved about their budding romance, and he might even give Carly the chance to come clean, but she’s not going to take it. So instead, Drew will consider telling Willow the truth about what Carly said Harmony told her.

When Drew tells Carly he’s thinking about clearing the air and giving Willow the full story about what happened on Harmony’s deathbed, Carly is going to plead with him not to. She might paint it as concern for Willow and not wanting to dredge up those last moments of Harmony’s life which were painful for Willow. She may also emphasize how hurtful it would be for Willow to learn Harmony was telling lies about her right up until the end.
