GH Spoilers: Drew And Michael Strategize Over ELQ And Dante’s Warning

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will strategize over ELQ. Drew will keep in mind Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) warning, unbeknownst to Michael, in an upcoming episode of GH!

General Hospital Spoilers – Dante Falconeri Warned Drew Cain About Michael Corinthos

Previous GH episodes revealed that Dante warned Drew about Michael using ELQ resources to get back at Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), although he wasn’t sure how. They talked about Michael’s anger against his adoptive father and how Michael wants to change the meaning of the name “Corinthos” and wanting to destroy Sonny! Now Michael is using ELQ resources to get back at Sonny while Drew wants to make the company stronger by merging it with Aurora Media?

There is something wrong with that picture – very, very wrong, and Drew must find a way to right it. The whole purpose of the merger is to get ELQ back under Quartermaine control, and it looks like Michael’s anger and thirst for revenge is going to ruin things!

GH Spoilers – Drew Cain Considers What To Do About Michael Corinthos’ Plot

Drew is honest – very honest, but at the same time he knows from his Navy Seal years that you don’t tell the enemy your plans. Drew fears that Michael’s anger at Sonny is skewing his business sense and that instead of saving ELQ, he’ll wind up destroying it! He knows he must find a way to get his nephew back on the right path but in a way that he doesn’t suspect Drew knows his ulterior motives! At the same time, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) still wants the CEO position in the merged company and Drew wonders if perhaps he should give it to him. Drew and Michael are supposed to be together in this thing, but what Dante told him makes him wonder if and he are really on the same side or not!

General Hospital Spoilers – Drew Cain And Michael Corinthos Strategize, Drew Listening Carefully

Drew goes into his next strategy meeting with Michael like he’s going on an undercover operation, listening carefully to Michael’s input but not taking everything he says at face value. Drew is quickly learning the duplicitous side of Michael and when he suggests something that doesn’t sound like it’s good for the company, he asks some hard questions. Drew wants detailed explanations of how Michael’s plans will undergird ELQ since it is to be part of Aurora Media, his company he founded with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).

Drew was hoping that Dante somehow misread Michael’s intentions for ELQ but he now knows that he didn’t. Even Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) in all her anger against her ex-husband didn’t seek revenge or ruin or to bankrupt him – she sought nothing from Sonny financially.

GH Spoilers – Drew Cain Talks In Confidence To Carly Corinthos About What He’s Found Out

Drew knows Michael is Carly’s baby, but if he bankrupts Sonny by trying a corporate takeover of all of his assets that’s going to affect Sonny’s children’s futures. ELQ doesn’t need to take on all of Sonny’s legitimate businesses just to satisfy Michael’s revenge; besides, the outside shareholders could see those businesses as tainted by mob money! The only reason they don’t have a problem with the name Corinthos is because Michael has been perceived as disassociated from Sonny. For all the Cassadines’ problems and Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) being associated with ELQ at least he’s not a known mobster! Carly is shocked by Drew’s news given him by Dante and the proof he has gathered – they’ll put their heads together to try and talk some sense into Michael!
