General Hospital spoilers reveal Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will face some serious struggles ahead as he tries to come to terms with Rory Cabrera’s (Michael Blake Kruse) death. Onlookers might not understand the difficulty Dante is having, seeing as how he wasn’t close with Rory and wouldn’t have considered him a friend, though certainly not an enemy.
So why does Dante seem so concerned with the events surrounding Rory’s death? If it’s not personal, it must be professional. Something is amiss with this case, and Dante is fit not to speak on it until he follows his lead and makes sure no one can tamper with his investigation.
General Hospital Spoilers — Dante Falconeri Is Onto Something
When Dante arrived at Apartment #82, he was waiting for back-up when he heard gunshots and decided he couldn’t wait any longer. As he entered the apartment and found a man lying on the floor with a wound to his chest, he didn’t expect Rory to come stumbling out of a back room with a similar wound.
In the blur of those moments when Dante’s only job was to try to save Rory’s life, he didn’t waste time worrying about how Rory knew something bad was going to happen in that apartment, or why he was there first. In the days that follow Rory’s death, though, he’s going to come up with a lot of unanswered questions — that being one of them. Why was Rory in that apartment and before Dante got the call to head there?
GH Spoilers – Hint The PCPD Has A Mole
Dante isn’t going to know who to trust in this scenario. The Hook keeps getting away with every attack, and this time, it seems they somehow lured a police officer to his death without even getting him to act in response to a call. As Dante grows more curious about what drew Rory into that apartment, he just might start wondering if Rory is more than just the victim, but also the perpetrator. There won’t be an easy way to say that to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) or the DA without proof, so he’s going to keep it to himself out of concern that others in the PCPD might be watching him.
General Hospital Spoilers — Rory Cabrera Wasn’t One Of The Good Guys
Dante knows he has to be doubly sure Rory played a role in any of this before he can even make a mere suggestion that he did. If he’s wrong, it could blow up in his face. If he’s right, he could be onto the biggest break they’ve had in The Hook case, though he doesn’t know it yet. Dante’s suspicions about Rory are going to flourish as he digs into the meat of his injuries via the medical examiner’s report.
