GH Spoilers: Dante Is Indebted To Sonny After He Covers Up His Past With Cody

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is a pretty calm and collected guy. It takes a lot to get his goat or make him feel rattled. His girlfriend, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) knows this, which is why she’s so suspicious of whatever lurks in Dante’s pastas he claims up just talking about it.

The last thing Dante needs is for Sam —- or anyone —- to find out what he did when he was still underage that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) took the blame for. He knows he got a second chance at life and he’s not going to let Cody come to Port Chuck and ruin everything he’s worked so hard to attain there —- including the respect of his friends and the citizens of his fine city he feels blessed to serve.

When Cody starts running his mouth, Dante might feel compelled to do something about it. Can his father make this problem go away like he does so many others? What will it mean for Dante’s future if he lets Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) take care of this for him?

General Hospital Spoilers — Cody Bell Is A Loose Cannon

Recently, Dante and Sam went to The Bar and found Cody there drowning his sorrows with strangers. As they pulled him away and tried to help him sober up, Sam seemed to be silently gauging whether or not she approved of Cody anymore, and how much of his act she was buying. Dante could sense this and tried to encourage Sam to be helpful to Cody and to stop bringing up references to his past. Still, Cody’s inclination to blurt things out and retaliate when he feels backed into a corner isn’t serving Dante well.

As Dante notices this kind of behavior out of Cody more and more, he’s going to grow pretty nervous that his secret isn’t so safe with his childhood chum. If the truth comes out about Cody’s past, he knows it won’t be kosher of him to allow everyone to think Cody did what his juvenile record says he did.

Dante’s own moral code won’t let him force Cody to adopt that reputation, but he’ll have to forsake the reputation he’s worked so hard to earn with the PCPD and everyone who knows him as well. Not prepared to do that, Dante needs the past to stay where it is, and he’s getting pretty worried that Cody doesn’t feel the same way as he has far less to lose.

When Sam just can’t resist digging deeper into Cody’s past, Dante knows he has to put a stop to what she might find. For the first time in his life, he’s going to ask his father, Sonny, for a favor. Does Sonny’s reach extend to decades into the past, and will he have to reveal who he really is and what he’s done to his dear old dad first?
