GH Spoilers: Dante Encourages Cody, Will Cody Tell Mac The Truth?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will give Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) some much needed encouragement soon. Might Cody let it slip that he lied about the paternity test results and Dante encourages him to tell Mac Scorpio (John J. York) the truth?

General Hospital Spoilers – Cody Bell Might Fudge The Truth A Tad

Now, it’s going to be a difficult thing for Cody to admit even to his oldest friend Dante that he purposely lied about the paternity test. He lied because he wanted to inherit that thirty-five million dollar necklace that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) left to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). So, he might fudge the truth just a tad but tell Dante that he still had the paternity test results and had found out he’d misunderstood them.

After all, Cody isn’t a doctor or a lab tech or someone who knows medical terminology. It’s difficult for Cody to admit when he’s wrong, but he did say he had made a very bad mistake recently.

GH Spoilers – Cody Bell Did A Brotherly Thing

Cody recently did a very brotherly thing for Dante, but it was Mac who noticed; Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) was worried about Dante because he hadn’t come home at night. The two of them were at Volonino’s Gym and even though she didn’t trust him and thought he was stalking, Cody made the move to call Mac at the station.

Soon both Mac and Dante came walking into Volonino’s and Sam was relieved-and Mac seemed impressed, and told him to call him anytime. It sounds like Cody may have been testing the waters of what a father and son relationship would be between them, Cody not having felt like he was good enough. It seemed to make Cody feel relieved that Mac thought he’d done a good thing tracking down Dante for Sam.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cody Bell Confesses

Even though it may be hard to admit the whole truth of his deception, he admits when he got the test results he was too embarrassed to ask what they meant. He didn’t want to seem like an ignorant hillbilly but he just got a doctor to explain it to him, and he was wrong – Mac IS his father. Dante breaks out in a big grin and pats him on the shoulder and encourages him to tell Mac, there is no shame in it.

It’s like when someone thinks their question is stupid, when in reality, the only stupid question is the one they don’t ask. Dante really hypes it up encouraging Cody to tell Mac the truth, after all, look who Dante got as a birth father-a mob boss!
