GH Spoilers: Curtis Isn’t an Ashford, And His Mother’s Lie Is Too Close For Portia’s Comfort

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was seeking genetic testing to gauge how much of a chance he might have of developing Schizophrenia or passing it on to a child, given that his dad, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) has it.

The only problem is Marshall isn’t really Curtis’ dad — or so Portia suspects. How will she get to the bottom of this mystery without alerting Curtis to what she thinks is going on — and why does she think he doesn’t deserve to know about the paternity issues swirling around him once again?

General Hospital Spoilers — Portia Robinson Is Stunned

As a doctor, Portia knows some of the genetic markers were expected to be on Curtis’ lab report. To have skirted all ten of them is almost impossible, and it’s making Portia think something is amiss between Curtis and Marshall. However, she has no idea whether either of them know it.

Most likely, Curtis would never keep that kind of thing from Portia, which is ironic given what she has been hiding from him. However, Marshall could know that Curtis isn’t his son and may have let him go through this entire experience for now reason. Regardless, Portia is going to have a persistent suspicion about what he did and didn’t know now, and she won’t be able to rest until she gets some answers.

GH Spoilers – Tease She’s Going To Do Some Digging

Portia is confident she can get some answers about Marshall’s marriage to Curtis’ mother, but she’ll have to tread carefully when going to the only source she has — Curtis’ aunt, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson). Marshall and Stella certainly have some secrets between them that go back to Curtis’ childhood, and Stella is more likely than anyone to know if her sister ever had an affair.

However, will Stella appreciate being approached by Portia about this behind both Marshall and Curtis’ backs? Might she take what she learns straight to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) — with whom she shares a deeper alliance?

Should Portia learn that Curtis’ mother had an affair and conceived him during such, she will quickly connect the dots and realize she and Portia are one in the same. She may not have the opportunity to know her personally, but Portia is suddenly feeling like she’s got far too much in common with Curtis’ mom.

She’s already been struggling to keep a lid on the secret she’s kept from Curtis for nearly two decades now — that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is really his daughter. Adding the knowledge that Curtis also has a mystery dad out there is just too much. Whether she likes it or not, Portia is going to be forced to either come clean with Curtis or risk someone else doing it.
