GH Spoilers: Could Esmé Have Attacked Ava?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors pose the question of whether Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) could have been the one who attacked Ava Cassadine (Maura West). She certainly would have had motive, if she is the one who grabbed the hook she had means, the question is, did she have opportunity?

General Hospital Spoilers – No Body Found

No body has been found since that fateful night when Ava and Esmé fought on the parapet of Wyndemere Castle and Esmé went over the edge. It’s not for sure how high the particular parapet might be, but Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) survived a fall from an upper window of the castle on Cassadine Island. He fell with a bullet in his chest put there by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

All that Nikolas found after doing a search of the shoreline and apparently going into the water was a muddy shoe. If Esmé was in the water, she couldn’t have washed out to sea that quickly.

GH Spoilers – Tunnels And Catacombs

Longtime viewers will remember there are tunnels and catacombs under Spoon Island and they go all the way under the harbor into Port Charles. They may even extend into the Quartermaine property, which is substantial; they were once used for drug smuggling.  Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) and Sly Eckert (Glenn Walker Harris, Jr.) both played in and hid in them as children and Esmé may know of them. One goes up under Wyndemere Castle and up into the living room where there’s a secret door and secret passageways. There are also secret rooms and Nikolas didn’t mention if he checked those; she could have crawled into them and hidden or used the tunnels to get to the Quartermaine property.

General Hospital Spoilers – Esmé Prince Could Be Alive

Without question, Esmé could be alive and she could have been lurking and watching Ava at the Quartermaine boathouse, waiting to catch her alone. After what happened to her, she wouldn’t care that her birth father Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) was obsessed with her. The original plan was for Esmé to seduce Nikolas away from Ava so Ryan could escape and take her for himself, but she became more interested in her own plots.

Esmé was ready to pack up and leave Port Charles and didn’t even say goodbye to Ryan, since her misstep with Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) sent her on the run. But that fact shows she no longer cared about his plans for Ava and could have been the one to try and take her out herself.
