GH Spoilers: Corinthos Versus Cassadine-Who Will Win?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will try to take down Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) in the near future. In this Corinthos versus Cassadine confrontation, who will win?

General Hospital Spoilers -Takedowns And Threats

Sonny probably made his first mistake in taking down Victor by giving him a heads up; he threatened him in the Metro Court and Victor laughed in his face. Sonny had warned him if he tried any more of his stunts against any of his family or friends he’d regret it. Victor came back with asking him what he was going to do, put two bullets behind his ear, pointing to the spot?

Sonny smiled his sinister mobster smile and told Victor, no, it would only take one bullet. The only problem is that Sonny’s presence isn’t as terrifying a threat as it once was, when nobody messed with Sonny.

GH Spoilers – Outnumbered?

The Five Families of Port Charles have dwindled down to two, and even those two collaborate and work together quite a bit, practically out of necessity. The Corinthos crime family and the Wu family are the only two left, with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and Sonny working together on many things. Sonny doesn’t even have a dedicated hit man and the one he does have, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is still in training and working against him. Dex is a plant by Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and working to take Sonny down from the inside, although Selina has a couple of rougher-uppers who are pretty fierce. Victor, on the other hand, has many operatives working for him all over the world, many in the WSB who are still loyal to him including in Port Charles.

General Hospital Spoilers – Pent-Up Rage And Revenge

One thing that Sonny has going for him is pent-up anger and revenge; even though he and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) were best friends, they had a falling out. Thanks to Victor’s kidnapping Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Jason going with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to rescue her, he died on Cassadine Island. Peter August (Wes Ramsey) may have caused the tunnel to collapse, but it was Victor who started the process, and Sonny never had a chance to make right with Jason.

Now Sonny has Jason to avenge as well as anger at Victor for framing Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and making Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) disappear. Victor may be sneakier but Sonny might be stronger, and he might just let Victor have a try at hanging from a meat hook and be threatened with knives!
