GH Spoilers: Carly And Drew Celebrate, New Year, Newly Engaged?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will celebrate on New Year’s Eve. Away from Port Charles, they’ll celebrate the New Year, and possibly a new engagement.

General Hospital Spoilers – A Box With A Key

Drew gave Carly a little box for Christmas with a key in it, and it looks like they have a time share he’s purchased in a romantic place, and they will likely be there. Shortly after Drew found a lead on Josiah Black, (uncast character) thanks to the help of a newspaper reporter, Carly stuffed the file he found on him in her purse. She then suggested that they take a romantic trip out of town to get away from all the stress of Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) birth parents quest.

Josiah was the cult leader at Peace and Love Commune when Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) supposedly got baby Willow from Josiah after a pregnant woman named Joan gave birth. Drew and the reporter from Claiborne County, where the commune was located, could find no records of the woman.

GH Spoilers – Keeping Secrets Is No Way To Start A Future Marriage

Drew and Carly were trying to keep their relationship on the down low after Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) implied they could be arrested for insider trading-if he turned them in. They didn’t want there to be any evidence that they were any more than acquaintances just in case, but now it looks like Ned’s come down off his high horse. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) figured it out as well as Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and basically anyone who sees them together, so their relationship is pretty much no longer a secret.

That secret is one thing, but Carly keeping secret what she knows about Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) being Willow’s birth mother is quite another. That’s the kind of secret that could end everything; Drew helped Carly get Willow’s DNA to compare to Nina’s, and she lied to him about the test showing a match!

General Hospital Spoilers – Secret Engagement – For Now

Drew has certainly been giving the impression that he’s got something very special planned, when he gave her the key. Carly could pretty easily convince him to go to that special place over New Year’s, where they can start their New Year fresh. There’s a good chance that they will return from their New Year’s vacation newly engaged, although they will keep it secret for now.

They have to be sure that enough time has passed since the merger attempt so they can’t be proven to have colluded on Carly’s backfired stock purchases. She lost her part of The Metro Court because she’d funded the numerous Aurora Media stock purchases with it and couldn’t get it back.
