GH Spoilers: Brando’s Suspicious Of Dex, Snoops For Sonny

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) is suspicious of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) new enforcer, Dex (Evan Hofer). He’ll offer to do a deep dive investigation and check him out in an upcoming episode of GH!

General Hospital Spoilers – This Seems All Too Convenient

As far as Brando is concerned, even though Dex worked at Volonino’s Gym for a couple of months it seemed all too convenient. Dex had replaced Chet Driscoll (Chris Van Etten) while he was on active duty, and now he’s gone again – but Dex showed up right after Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) died. Brando is suspicious, as well as Dante Falconeri, (Dominic Zamprogna) that Dex could be a plant from a rival mob wanting to take over Sonny’s territory from the inside.

The timing seems off – and now that Chet has taken a job in Chicago, Dex hasn’t jumped for joy and tried to get his job again!  If he’s a plant, he’s not going to learn that much about what Sonny’s up to working at the gym; he’s trying to get too close!

GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Thought Brick Was Sending A Guy To Be His Enforcer

Sonny had thought that Brick (Stephen A. Smith) had someone in mind he was sending to take Jason’s place and be his enforcer, but no one had shown up yet. Sonny was very impressed that day when Dex separated a pair of boxers in the ring that got a little too rowdy, and he reminded him of a young Jason.

So, when Dex asked him for a job since the gym job was ending he said he had something but he had to agree to some things and interviewed him. Dex didn’t have a problem with the criteria, so he hired him, and luckily, so far he hasn’t had to use him but he can fill in again at the gym.

General Hospital Spoilers – Brando Corbin And Dante Falconeri Work Together

Brando and Dante work together to follow up on Brando’s suspicions about Dex, which Dante had agreed with Brando on; though Brick cleared Dex when Sonny asked him, they’re still suspicious. Brando and Dante both have a gut instinct about the newbie that just doesn’t sit right with them; it’s just one of those feelings that something is off with the guy. Sonny tells Dante and Brando if Brick can’t find anything on him there shouldn’t be any worries, but it’s instinct – after all, he’s just a kid!

Dante reminds him that Joey Novak (Patrick Zeller) seemed like “just a kid” too, and look how much trouble he made at The Savoy and at Kelly’s! There’s been plenty of other “kids” in Port Charles history that made lots of trouble too, bringing Zander Smith (Chad Brannon) to mind.

GH Spoilers – Dante Falconeri Runs Dex’s Face Through Facial Recognition And Checks Warrants

Dante usually doesn’t use police databases for private business but he looks through warrants and Sonny had a photo taken of Dex for “business reasons” he printed. He doesn’t find any warrants but he does find out he grew up in Bensonhurst – which Sonny already knew, he told him! They had talked about Dex’s background and where he came from, and Dex had heard of Sonny back home. Brando looks for him on the internet and covers the social media sites and finds he has a profile on Society Setups. So far, just all normal stuff – but Dante and Brando resolve to keep looking and tell Sonny to watch this new guy!
