GH Spoilers: Ava CANCELS Her And Nikolas’ Vow Renewal

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Ava Cassadine (Maura West), livid that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) made the decision to allow Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) move into their home with no discussion, cancels their vow renewal in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!

General Hospital Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Wanted To Protect Esme Prince But Also Wanted To Get In His Son’s Good Graces Again

General Hospital viewers will recall that where Nikolas was coming from with this unilateral decision, was to protect a possibly pregnant Esme from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) but also get back in Spencer’s good graces. General Hospital viewers will remember that ever since Nikolas returned to Port Charles and revealed himself as alive, there had been a rift between him and Spencer for leaving Spencer out of the loop! Spencer was a tween when Nikolas disappeared, and his grandmother Laura Collins (Genie Francis) had taken over his care, eventually putting him in an exclusive boarding school in France. But there also was a big rift between Spencer and Ava, because shortly after Nikolas disappeared Ava had promised to help him regain Wyndemere and Cassadine Industries from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), and instead she let Valentin finance her plastic surgery after she was in a fire. General Hospital viewers will also recall that Ava’s stay in the Boronsky Clinic in Russia led to Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) escape as Patient Six back to Port Charles.

GH Spoilers – Ava Cassadine Cuts Nikolas Cassadine Off From The Bedroom

General Hospital viewers will recall from recent episodes of General Hospital, that Ava already cut Nikolas off from the bedroom, basically reverting their marriage to one in name only as a business arrangement! Ava flat out refused the marital bed until Esme was no longer staying in her and Nikolas’ home, and there was a stalemate between her and Nikolas because he wanted to support Spencer by supporting his on again off again manipulative girlfriend. General Hospital viewers know that Ava and Nikolas are about equally stubborn, and a power struggle quickly ensues in this situation, although Ava allows for Spencer to stay with them since he’s Nikolas’ son. She just doesn’t want Esme there; especially since she knows Esme has framed Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) for her own revenge porn crime, even though as yet she’s been unable to prove it.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Cassadine Cancels The Vow Renewal And Rebuffs Nikolas Cassadine’s Advances

General Hospital viewers know that both Ava and Nikolas are experts at playing hardball, and this situation is certainly no exception – Nikolas tries seduction, but Ava rebuffs his advances-and then she tells him that as long as Esme is on the premises, their vow renewal is off! But General Hospital viewers know that Nikolas doesn’t give up that easily when he’s opposed – and he looks at the situation as a challenge! Whenever Ava tries to control him and tell him what he must do, it immediately makes him want to do the opposite thing – and in this case, it could mean big trouble for their marriage and maybe even the end of it! This situation, of course, makes it much more easy for Esme to obey her own father, Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) orders to break up Ava and Nikolas by seducing Nikolas – but it looks like she may not have to, because they’re doing a pretty good job of it themselves!
