GH Sneak Peek: Esmé Caught In The Act, Trapped Like A Rat

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Sneak Peek that Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is caught in the act trying to escape, but still trapped like a rat. But now she’s accused of being a rat with a hook, and tries to convince Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) he’s got the wrong rat.

General Hospital Spoilers – Out On A Ledge?

One would think falling off the parapet would convince the pregnant Esmé not to try to escape through a window out on a ledge of the North tower of Wyndemere. But that is exactly where Nikolas catches her trying to escape, and she tells him she was just trying to get some fresh air. She even tries to convince him that it’s healthy for her and his baby, but he tells her he knows exactly what she was up to.

Nikolas reminds her that those doors are sealed for a reason, and it would be very dangerous for her to crawl out on that narrow ledge. He then accuses Esmé of hoping if she could force an opening, maybe her voice would carry and someone would hear her.

GH Spoilers – Guilty As Sin But Not Like He Thinks

Nikolas continues, telling Esmé his theory – that she was hoping maybe one of the Wyndemere staff would hear her and come to her rescue. Esmé admits it – he’s caught her and she’s guilty as sin. Nikolas then tells her that the staff employees are paid handsomely to look the other way in – shall we say – awkward situations and that’s exactly what they do. Esmé asks Nikolas what his own end game is in keeping her captive like he is doing; she doesn’t know the half of it but he does tell her part. Nikolas points out some recent events and notes that they stopped since he trapped her.

General Hospital Spoilers – Deny, Deny, Deny

Nikolas talks about the gaffing hook attacks on Ava Cassadine (Maura West) and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and accuses Esmé of trying to kill them. Then he points out the deaths of Brando Corbin, (Johnny Wactor) who just got in the way, and Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) and says she succeeded. He tells her Oz made the mistake of selling her a black market phone and that particular decision cost him his life.

Esmé is outraged and asks him how many times does she have to tell him that she is not “The Hook”? Nikolas doesn’t believe her, and says “Oh really”? wanting to know why the attacks had stopped since he locked her up in there?
