At GH, Britt confronts someone and wants to know if that is what this is all about. There’s a possibility this has something to do with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and all his questions about her father and their fathers’ past. Since Cody revealed that Leopold Taub (Chip Lucia) was his father of record and was in the cartel with Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) his questions about Faison have made Britt uncomfortable.
After much game playing and drama, she finally admitted she likes Cody and agreed to explore a relationship with him. But if he doesn’t lay off the questions about her father, he’s going to blow his chance again.
Now that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) have decided to move in together in Sam’s penthouse, she’s excited. As they sit on the couch together she smiles and tells Dante this is going to be amazing. His son Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) is moving in with Sam and her son Danny Morgan (Zakary Risinger) and daughter Emily “Scout” Cain (Ella Ramacieri).
The boys play well together and Scout seems to get along well with both of them, so their little blended family should be fun. The only thing that bothered her had been moving into Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) house and moving into Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) penthouse apparently is solving that problem.
Austin is back to work at the hospital and confronts most likely his creepy cousin Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey). He looks at him sternly and asks if he’s there to finish what he started; which was apparently making sure Ava Cassadine (Maura West) didn’t talk about what she’d overheard.
It’s no secret that Austin believes it was his cousin who attacked Ava within an inch of her life with a large grappling hook used for fishing.
Austin had followed Mason when he went after Ava and then apparently got lost in the woods on the Quartermaine estate. But a short time later, Mason went off on his own again and Austin heard of Ava’s attack.
Felicia is in her daughter Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) apartment as she gives her a stern warning. Felicia gets down in Maxie’s face as she tells her something would be a very bad idea. Felicia may be suspicious of Austin even though she really hasn’t said so previously, although she may have found out something since.
Felicia has some other theories as well, although they really don’t pertain to Maxie. One is her theory that Mac Scorpio (John J. York) may be Cody’s birth father.
Elsewhere, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has asked Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) for help. This could be something to do with trying to help solve the Victor Cassadine problem and in particular, ensuring Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain) is securely out of the elder Cassadine’s clutches. It’s obvious that Robert is being a rascal as he’s laughing at Anna, and teasing her about something, possibly his help.
Anna doesn’t find Robert’s rascally humor so funny, as she looks pretty angry as she tells him she doesn’t know whether to find that funny or really disturbing. She wouldn’t be asking for his help if she didn’t need it, after all.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has gone to his cousin Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to apparently ask for her help, or perhaps some off the record legal advice. His regular attorney Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) is out of town and even though Alexis is no longer practicing law, she’s family.
She sees right through Valentin and assesses the situation to him that he’s under Victor’s orders. It sounds like he’s looking for legal means to get Charlotte out from under Victor’s control at the private school he put her in overseas. If he can find a loophole to Victor’s self-appointed guardianship of Charlotte he can go rescue her.
Victor is talking about another type of little secret entirely as he unabashedly flirts with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). Lucy is working with Valentin and Anna to get Victor to accidently spill vital information so they can take him down. Victor gets up close and personal with Lucy, smiling as he tells her something will be their little secret.
Lucy smiles and nods as she plays along, Victor apparently not being able to see through her guise. The sneaky old Cassadine, as Robert might call him, may be sufficiently distracted by the lovely Lucy so as to be off his game.
Sonny gets up close and personal with Cody, and has some men to back him up as he tells him they need to get something straight. Cody may not even be aware he ruffled the Corinthos family Don’s feathers, or Sonny may be working on behalf of Selina Wu (Lydia Look). Selina had asked a favor of Sonny when they were together in The Savoy at Trina’s party, and Cody’s definitely not on her favorites list.
He got into her high stakes poker game and won the whole pot and her players gave up and left. He was beaten up but apparently Selina or Sonny may think he needs a reminder.
