General Hospital Spoilers: Victor Primes Ava — For Romance?

General Hospital spoilers reveals Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) is always in the mood for a good game of chess. If Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) thinks he can outwit his uncle, Victor has another thing coming for him. Nikolas knows Victor has been pressing him for months to divorce Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), but that’s the last thing Nikolas actually wants. Ava isn’t so sure that’s what she wants either. Victor has moved into Wyndemere now, and he’s looking for the best angle to manipulate the situation to his advantage. What does that mean exactly? Walking away with Ava on his arm, of course.

General Hospital Spoilers — Victor Cassadine Noses Into Ava Jerome Cassadine’s Business

Victor is living back at Wyndemere now and he can’t help but notice the sounds he hears coming from the wing where the north tower is. It’s not the sound of renovations being carried out but of a woman’s voice — sometimes even a scream. Victor isn’t here to judge what Nikolas does in his private time, but it’s clear he’s up to something in private with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), and he’s not going to accept excuses anymore for what they’re up to.

While Victor makes an assumption that Liz and Nik are intimately involved, General Hospital spoilers say he’s going to start making moves toward someone he has his eye on — Ava. When he eventually finds out the real secret Nikolas is keeping under wraps in the north tower — Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) — Victor will realize he has all the leverage he’ll ever need to get what he wants.

How will Victor get Nikolas to speed up this divorce so he can have a shot at having Ava all to himself? He just might resort to blackmailing Nikolas into letting Ava go. At first, threats of telling Ava that Nikolas has moved on with Elizabeth will fall flat, because he knows Elizabeth will also refute them.

But when Victor is armed with the knowledge that Esme is living at Wyndemere too — and having Nik’s baby, all bets will be off. Victor knows if he turns Nikolas and Esme into the police now, he would lose all the leverage he needs to secure this divorce. When Victor backs Nikolas into a corner, the prince is going to know he must once again choose between the wellbeing of his child — or Ava. What will he choose?

Ava isn’t a stupid woman. She knows Victor is trying to butter her up, and she doesn’t have to understand why to know she doesn’t like it. However, the longer she goes without Nikolas in her life, and the more she learns that he isn’t necessarily pining for her, the more inclined she might be to let someone else keep her warm at night.
