General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin Finds An Ally In The Place He Least Expected?

General Hospital spoilers reveals Valentin Cassadnine (James Patrick Stuart) is reeling with pain. He knew when Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) offered him a jet plane straight to see his little girl, Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain), there would be a catch. He never expected Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) would pay the price, and possibly with her own freedom. No sooner did Valentin’s plane take flight than Victor deployed his plan to have Anna on video shooting Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) — subsequently leading to her being locked up by the PCPD. Valentin is miles away in Switzerland with Charlotte and feeling hopeless. The only way he can possibly save his girl now is to team up with someone else — but who?

General Hospital Spoilers — Laura Collins Will Lend A Hand

When Charlotte and Valentin put their heads together on how they can help Anna from so many miles away, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will be Charlotte’s strongest suggestion. Valentin and Laura may not see eye and eye on most things. In fact, let’s just admit they don’t like each other. But Laura knows how important Valentin is to Charlotte, and how important Anna is to Valentin — and vice versa. She knows Valentin’s hands are tied, and she also knows Victor came to Port Charles to hurt the people she loves. So she won’t hesitate to help when Charlotte reaches out — with or without Valentin.

GH Spoilers – Indicate Laura Collins’s Reach Is Stifled

While Laura might be more than willing to help free Anna from Victor’s clutches and get her back on the right side of the jail cell, Victor has already planned for her involvement. He knew Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Valentin, and others would likely have looped her in at some point and asked for her assistance. She is the Mayor of Port Charles, after all. However, Victor put Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) in the position he did with great purpose, and her role is going to become even more important now as she has to pull out all the stops to shield Laura from interfering with Victor’s plan to put Anna away for good and crush his son in the process. Fret not, Laura won’t remain the only tool in Valentin’s arsenal.

Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) must need something to focus his energy on while Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) is away trying to make sense of her past, which will ultimately impact her future with Finn. When he reaches out to Valentin in an effort to help free Anna, it’s going to surprise Anna’s current beau — who merely sees Dr. Finn as a part of Anna’s past. That being said, Valentin doesn’t have much wiggle room or time to be choosy. Anna’s fate rests in his and her friends’ hands to make sure Victor is brought to justice.
