General Hospital spoilers reveal that Sonny isn’t as over his ex-wife as he would like to think. Sonny may have decided to move on with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Unfortunately, that may not be as easy as Sonny thinks. After all, Sonny may be with Nina, but that doesn’t mean he is ready to see Carly with someone else and it never does.

Sonny has never allowed Carly to move on. One way or another, Carly stayed connected in her life and she would often drop things at the drop of a hat to save Sonny from himself. Carly and Jason Morgan (ex-Steve Burton) would always ban together to help Sonny get through manic episodes. Carly was instrumental in helping with Sonny’s mental health.

During the week of August 22 – 26, Carly and Drew will get closer. This could have a great deal to do with the Quartermaine picnic. Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) will help with this love potion that could be the reason everyone goes a little haywire at that picnic.

Will the love potion bring Carly and Drew closer or does an element of danger give them the push they need? Carly and Drew may be pushed to make some serious decisions about the direction of their relationship. However, that doesn’t mean the road will be easy. Will Carly and Drew survive?

Carly and Drew may be “friends” however, Carly had completely written Drew off when he turned out not to be Jason. Sonny and Carly pretty well cut ties with Drew when Jason returned. Drew felt like he had been thrown away for his brother, is he becoming a substitute again? Carly and Jason were married when Sonny returned. Now Carly is alone again, could Drew be a substitute?

Carly doesn’t have Sonny and Jason is gone. Suddenly, Carly is friends with Drew again but is that really fair? Should Drew get pulled back and forth during Carly’s mood swings? Are Carly and Drew meant to be a couple or are they just passing time?
