General Hospital spoilers reveals Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) most certainly has a reputation for being a womanizer, but no one can say he doesn’t have a specific kind of taste, and it’s predominantly focused on young women. So when he becomes a source of comfort for Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), it won’t bode well for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to grow curious about his conversations with Liesl as though he’s hiding something sinister from her.

However, that’s just how insecure and unstable Nina feels in her relationship with Sonny. When she can’t drum up any other explanation for why he won’t reveal to her what Liesl has shared with him, Nina jumps to the wrong conclusion like every other time.

Sonny isn’t the cold man so many people think he is. He knows Liesl’s heart is in the right place this time, too. She’s grieving the impending loss of her only child, who is going to be taken from her all too soon. Liesl is trying to respect Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) wishes and knows she doesn’t want anyone else to know about her Huntington’s Disease diagnosis yet. So when she is showing signs of distress and Nina implores her to share what’s going on, she’s going to shut her down — right before she opens up to Sonny, privately.

General Hospital spoilers say Nina is going to feel it would be too inappropriate of her to push Liesl to trust her the same way she is trusting Sonny. This will all feel so backwards to Nina and like she is intentionally being iced out. However, Liesl is teary eyed and this isn’t the time to push the envelope. Nina expects that once she gets home, Sonny will tell her what’s really going on so she can make some sense of this. Unfortunately for an already anxious Nina, that’s not what is going to happen.

Instead of assuming Liesl and Sonny might have been talking about her, Nina is going to jump to every wrong conclusion she possibly can. For all she knows, Sonny could have been discussing a surprise engagement ring — something Nina is certainly holding out hope for. Instead, her anxiety is going to get the best of her as she assumes there is nothing Sonny could be talking to Liesl about that he cannot tell her.

Thus, in Nina’s mind, it must be bad — and possibly even criminal. Is Sonny going to do some kind of dirty favor for Liesl that could land both of them in hot water? Meanwhile, Liesl is grieving and Nina has once again managed to make this all about herself. When Sonny is silent and tells her Liesl didn’t want her to know yet, she’s not going to take kindly to it — or his decision to honor her wishes against his girlfriend’s.
