General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that the harder Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) tries to reach out with affection to his son, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) the harder Spencer will resist. Perhaps there’s just too much water under the bridge for the father and son to make amends.
General Hospital Spoilers – Three Long Months Are Ahead
Three long months of Pentonville Prison are ahead for Spencer, and even though he hides it well, he’s bound to be scared. Ava Cassadine (Maura West) had warned him that Pentonville was nothing like Spring Ridge, and that he needed to watch his back. Spencer had responded that his uncle Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was going to have people watching out for him, but Nikolas wasn’t so sure that was enough.
General Hospital spoilers show Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) wasn’t so sure about Spencer’s protection on the inside either although he was going to do his part to try and protect Spencer in Pentonville. Nikolas knows that he did his little boy wrong when he faked his death for five years and should have let him in the loop that he was alive.
GH Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Wants To Make Amends
Nikolas is full of guilt and wants to make amends to his boy for not being there for him when he should have been. Spencer did a good and unselfish thing by trying to be an alibi for his friend, who doesn’t even want to be his friend anymore.
As far as Nikolas could tell, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has moved on although Nikolas is on the outside looking in. Spencer has to report to Pentonville soon, and he wants his son to know his father loves him although he hasn’t been very good at showing it. Nikolas reaches out to Spencer and wants to prove he loves him but Spencer has put up an inner wall because of the past.
General Hospital Spoilers – Father Tries To Give Son A Hug
Nikolas reaches out to Spencer and tries to give him a hug, but isn’t surprised when Spencer pushes him away. It’s definitely not a matter of teenage embarrassment, because Nikolas knows better than to try that in a public way. But even though Spencer is going to a dark, dark place and is putting on a tough guy front, he pushes his father away.
Nikolas tells Spencer he wants to make amends, Spencer understands that, but he should have thought about that when he let him grieve his death for no reason. If that had happened now, that would be one thing – but Spencer was only a little tweenaged boy; it’s too little, too late.
