General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Cassadine And Ava Cassadine Still Have Unfinished Business

In spite of all the talk about fresh start divorces and vow renewals, Nikolas and Ava have still not gotten anything resolved, and are still somewhat on the outs! Ava had agreed to give Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) a generous allowance from his trust fund so that he and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) could move out. It never happened – and so the four are still all living in Wyndemere Castle

Ava and Nikolas had been sitting with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) in the Metro Court the last time they tried to get the fresh start divorce on the road. Then Esmé interrupted and had a crisis for Nikolas to solve, which secretly irked Ava; they never did get things squared away and Ava didn’t sign the papers!

GH Spoilers: Ava Cassadine Remains Preoccupied With Trina Robinson And Her Troubles

With all else that is going on, Ava remains preoccupied with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and her troubles as well, desperately trying to find something to exonerate her. Trina’s trial has started and Scott is nowhere to be found and perhaps Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) fired him, having lost confidence in him. Ava is relieved to find that Attorney Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) has taken Trina’s case, and along with Trina’s friends, tries to get her to use Spencer as her alibi! In the meantime, Nikolas is desperate to get things resolved with Ava, and she’s desperate to get things resolved for Trina! Nikolas wants to get these papers signed so they can have their fresh start and he can’t get Ava to sign them!

General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Cassadine Is Being Driven By His Guilt To Get It Done Quickly

Nikolas is being driven by his guilt to get it done quickly; the longer it takes for the fresh start and new paperwork to be done the more danger he’s in. Esmé blackmailed him with telling Ava they had sex unless he can get her reinstated in her internship at Spring Ridge and Ava knows something’s bothering him. Lies on top of lies will not be serving Nikolas well to keep his woman who is way, way, too perceptive!

Nikolas will desperately keep trying to reconnect with Ava, but it is essential they reconnect in a private way – with no threat of Esme eavesdropping! So simply talking to Ava at home about this issue is difficult – and besides, she is still insisting on keeping things the way they are; that’s why she didn’t sign.

GH Spoilers: Nothing Good Can Come From All These Delays

Nikolas fears that nothing good can come from all these delays to his and Ava’s fresh start divorce and remarriage, while she feels nothing good can come from signing the papers! The more Nikolas nags her to sign the papers, the more suspicious she becomes that all is not as it appears to be, and so she continues to hold off! Something needs to be resolved soon before Esmé blows it all apart, because Nikolas is certain that she will!
