General Hospital Spoilers: Mac’s A Daddy, But Not To Cody

General Hospital spoilers reveals Fans are divided on the Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) storyline. Most everyone agrees that Mac is the awesome dude all of Port Charles has raved to Cody about, and he would be an amazing father to any lucky young guy or gal. However, Cody is subpar at best. He’s just not good enough for Mac, according to many fans. So those people might be thrilled to get their way when the truth comes out that Mac does have a son; it’s just not Cody.

Just because Cody isn’t Mac’s real son doesn’t mean he doesn’t have one. In fact, Cody may have stumbled upon the truth about Mac’s long lost son before he knew much of anything else going on with the Scorpio family, the infamous necklace, or Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) legacy.

Knowing Mac had a son with Dominique Taub (Shell Danielson) could have made it an easy con for Cody to pull off. All he had to do was grab a DNA sample from the mystery son in question. Knowing who that person was is really the only difficult part about that step in the process. That would allow Cody to fake the positive paternity test results, which would legitimately be positive.

Eventually, General Hospital spoilers show Cody is going to come out with the truth, but which version of it will he share with everyone? He isn’t going to reveal to the world that he conned everyone. Instead, he’s going to admit what he’s pretending is the truth — that he’s Mac’s son. Everyone will buy Cody’s explanation, because he has the test results to prove it.

Some people might even show sympathy for him as he explains he didn’t feel worthy of being a part of the Scorpio family. Of course, others are going to question why he lied in the first place, and they won’t be blind to the necklace being the benefit of pretending he was Leopold Taub’s son (Lucia Chip).
