General Hospital spoilers reveal a reckoning for Mac as he wonders if he could really have a biological child after all.

Mac Scorpio (John J. York) is known as father and grandfather extraordinaire in Port Charles after raising Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) when he believed Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) were dead. He also raised Felicia Scorpio’s (Kristina Wagner) two daughters, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Georgie Jones (Lyndze Leatherman), and is now the babysitting grandpa to Maxie’s three small children.

However, Mac has never had a child of his own and that may be about to change even if this bio child is a grown man that most fans can’t stand at this point.

GH Spoilers – Mac Scorpio Wonders If Cody Bell Is His

After learning that Dominique Baldwin (Shell Danielson) had a secret son that she gave up, Mac Scorpio had to meet the man and he took one look at Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and couldn’t stop staring. He could tell immediately that he was Dominique’s son, just the way Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) believed this guy’s story without a DNA test.

Mac then confides in Felicia that he wonders if he could be Cody’s father. After all, he and Dom had a love affair before both of them became Port Charles citizens and in Mac’s mind, the timeline is right.

“Felicia and Mac begin to wonder if maybe Leopold isn’t Cody’s father, someone else is,” John J. York said in the September 2, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “It’s like a puzzle that he’s putting together in his mind, thinking about what his own relationship with Dominique was, thinking about what a bad guy Leopold was and how controlling he was.”

While Felicia and Mac discuss this, they don’t dare say their real suspicions out loud — that Mac could be Cody’s father. If he is, this is not going to sit too well with fans who already have PTSD from the soap giving Anna a son in the form of Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Cody is not a hit with fans in the same way Cody is not a hit with fans, so hopefully, GH can turn that around. Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see how this story plays out.
