General Hospital spoilers indicate that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is about to consider getting into a relationship with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Unfortunately, this brings to mind Carly’s relationship with Franco Baldwin (ex-Roger Howarth) as well. Is Carly looking at Drew because he is Jason Morgan’s (ex-Steve Burton) brother?

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Had Fell For Jason Morgan

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Carly had allowed herself to fall head over hills for Jason while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was gone. Then Sonny came home and Carly turned to his arms and his bed. Suddenly, Jason left town never to return. Carly was blindsided by Jason’s death once again.

Now Carly is ready to move on with Drew, even though Carly has done this before. After all, have fans forgotten when Carly fell madly in love with Franco, that man who was responsible for her son’s rape while in Pentonville? That same Franco who was a serial killer and tortured both Jason and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).

GH Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Was Determined To Get Married

Carly was bound and determined to get married to Franco no matter what anyone had to say or do. Carly ignored everyone’s warning and continued to make plans to be with Franco no matter what. However, Carly’s desire to be with Franco almost cost her life too.

General Hospital spoilers Heather Webber (Robyn Mattson) disapproved of Carly for a mate for her son. Carly was put in danger when Heather escaped from a mental institution and tried to kill her. Franco ended up coming to Carly’s rescue and stabbing his mother. Franco went so far as to bury Heather alive to keep her from harming Carly again.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos To The Rescue

Somebody had to save Carly from Franco and Heather and that ended up being Sonny. Franco had given Carly a necklace with a hidden camera to spy on her and Carly was caught having sex with Sonny. Of course, this about sent Franco over the edge. Not to say that Drew is anything like Franco, except for their friendship.

Drew isn’t the violent type like Franco. However, it does seem that Carly tends to want to define everyone by a connection to Jason. Is Carly wanting to be with Drew simply because he is Jason’s brother? Could Carly once again be looking for a tie to Jason and not the real man sitting in from of her?

Carly tends to want to be close to Jason no matter what the issues. Will Drew and Carly crash and burn as well?
