General Hospital Spoilers: Has Victor Programmed Valentin?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors pose two questions from recent General Hospital episodes: Has Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) programmed Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)? Did Valentin take the real ice princess and swap it for a fake one?

General Hospital Spoilers – Why Did Valentin Cassadine Go To French Polynesia Undercover And Keep It Secret From Anna Devane?

One of the biggest questions that General Hospital viewers have after seeing Valentin undercover as Captain Francois Olivier is why did he go to French Polynesia and not tell Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)? General Hospital viewers will recall that before Anna left with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) she had tried to call Valentin and left a message – and it was implied she’d left a few – but he never called her back!

Valentin was a spy when he was younger, viewers will remember that Anna and he were in WSB spy school together, but he hasn’t been a WSB operative for years – and viewers will also remember Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) calling someone to “get it done”. This was right before the French Polynesia trip and the auction that was to be held to sell what Anna knew had to be the Ice Princess, which she thought she and other WSB agents already there retrieved from Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier). Could Valentin be who Victor called – could he have programmed Valentin to work for him and to retrieve the Ice Princess?

GH Spoilers – Victor Cassadine Wanted To Retrieve Something Connected To His Family’s Legacy That Was Also Related To Operation Demeter

General Hospital viewers will recall a few weeks ago when Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) came up with a plan to find out what Victor’s objective was, the one that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) interrupted! Victor thought that the location of what he was trying to find was at one time known by Drew, and he was intending to activate him to see if he could tell the location, and apparently it was connected to a military project called “Operation Demeter”.

General Hospital viewers will recall that Victor wanted to locate and retrieve something related to the Cassadine legacy; the item most known as a legacy item related to Cassadines would be the Ice Princess! Possibly the military had gotten ahold of perhaps not the diamond itself, but the formula for the technology that the diamond once powered – without the formula, the diamond wouldn’t be anything but a very large diamond – and the Cassadines aren’t exactly broke!

General Hospital Spoilers – Did Valentin Cassadine Swap The Real Ice Princess For A Fake One?

General Hospital viewers will recall that Valentin was a mercenary for years, and could have even stolen the real Ice Princess diamond himself; or he could have found it on Cassadine Island after Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) died and he took the island over.

The big question in General Hospital viewers’ minds now is did Valentin swap the real Ice Princess for a fake one, of which there have been at least two; and if he was working for his father, either willingly or under activation as his motivation for doing so! Questions also remain as to what Victor wants the diamond for, and if he also wants the missing formula and the statuette which once held the diamond. Most importantly, why Victor wants the Ice Princess – does he have evil intentions for it like his late brother Mikkos Cassadine (John Colicos) or does he want it for some other reason?
