Longtime General Hospital viewers will recall that Willow has harbored resentment against Harmony going back to their Dawn of Day period – Harmony sacrificed their relationship when she forced her daughter to be Shiloh Archer’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) concubine! That is why Kali Miller changed her name to Willow Tait, and that the baby boy she gave birth to was Shiloh’s and he was the original Wiley Cooper-Jones (uncredited) adopted by Lucas Jones (Matt Trudeau) and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) who died. She didn’t want either Shiloh or Harmony to ever find her or the baby, and unfortunately, Dawn of Day established a new chapter in Port Charles with Harmony overseeing it, although Shiloh was certainly around as well!
With that history, it is a miracle indeed that Willow apparently has decided to forgive Harmony for the past and the two bond as mother and daughter; too bad that they’re really not, and Willow’s adoption isn’t even legal!
General Hospital spoilers show that Nina had asked Harmony to advocate for her to have visitation with their “mutual” grandson Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) but even though Harmony asked, it didn’t do any good. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was dead set against it, and Willow had no more patience with or trust in Nina either, although she once did – now she feels that Nina would do Wiley more harm than good, and wouldn’t be safe around him.
General Hospital viewers can figure that Michael told Willow more of Nina’s history, in particular when she induced labor in Ava Cassadine (Maura West) and kidnapped newborn Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), going on the run to Canada with her. That certainly would have horrified Willow, since Nina wouldn’t have had any experience with children, let alone newborns back then – and she certainly didn’t have any medical training either; what if Ava had died or Avery had?
GH spoilers hint Harmony will want to stay in Willow’s good graces, now that she has allowed herself to bond with Harmony, and that means that she will side with Willow and Michael against Nina, especially during the court challenge! General Hospital viewers know that Harmony has a big secret that she’s keeping about Willow, and that’s why she had to do something drastic to shut up Brendon Byrne (Josh Coxx)!
Plus, her siding with Willow and Michael against Nina will go a long way towards mitigating her past with recruiting Michael’s sister Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) into the Dawn of Day! General Hospital viewers know that Michael has a hard time with forgiveness and trusting people who want to make new starts, and it’s surprising he hasn’t expressed mistrust of Harmony being safe around Wiley!
