General Hospital Spoilers tease that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) are due back from Niagara Falls very soon. Their friends and family were quite shocked when they realized that Brando and Sasha were married while on their getaway. While many of them are happy for the duo, Brando’s mother Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) has some concerns. Gladys hasn’t always been Sasha’s greatest supporter, but that not why she is concerned about their quickie wedding. Brando and Sasha are still mourning their baby!

Last winter, Sasha was pregnant with Brando’s baby. And after Brando agreed to stay out of the mob life, the couple planned to raise their baby together. Even Gladys eventually came to respect Brando and Sasha’s deep connection. But then tragedy hit the duo. After a difficult childbirth, Brando and Sasha learned their newborn son wouldn’t be able to survive without machines. So they made the painful decision to pull the plug and sadly, their little boy died.

While Brando took the time to mourn their loss, Sasha dove head first back into her job as the Face of Deception! Brando could feel that they were beginning to drift apart, so he suggested the trip to Niagara Falls. They weren’t planning on getting married but Sasha impulsively suggested they elope. What Brando doesn’t know is that Sasha’s impulsiveness is likely due to her drug use. Sasha was addicted once before but kicked the habit after she almost died from an overdose. But the pain of losing her baby boy has caused her to go back to taking pills.

When Gladys first found out about Brando and Sasha’s wedding plans, she wanted to go to Niagara Falls to stop them. But she was stopped by Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) who convinced her not to interfere. But as it turns out, Gladys may have a point. Brando and Sasha are still dealing with great loss, not to mention Sasha’s drug use. Gladys may have a lot of questions, but will Brando and Sasha have the right answers to satisfy her or will her questions cause Brando and Sasha to doubt their choice?
